Good morning everyone!

The sun is brightly shining on the eastern shore of MD and there's not a cloud in the sky. Considering that we've had 20 inches of rain this month and a chance of rain and cloudy skies almost everyday, this is a welcome change. I even saw stars in the sky this morning on my way into work.

I woke up this morning with a scratchy throat and the sniffles, so I've started on the Zicam and am hoping I can catch this before it goes to a full blown cold. About a year ago, I had these same symptoms and started on the Zicam and within 24 hours, I felt perfect. Needless to say, I swear by this stuff.

The local Rotary Club is hosting their 40th annual Artisans Festival this weekend at the 4-H park, so we'll be going to that tomorrow. They have a lot of the same artisans year after year, but they also have new people that come as well. I'm hoping to find some neat earrings. It's going to be much cooler this weekend than it has been, with temperatures only in the 50's, but at least it won't be raining. Hopefully they'll have a good turn out for the festival.
