Midweek day..Happy Wednesday!

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Midweek day..Happy Wednesday!

Postby Nasoosie » Wed Nov 12, 2008 5:02 am

Good Morning to us all! Got the coffee made....Hazlenut....the wood fire stoked and crackling, and the final of my three pistachio muffins here beside me! I can share small bites with you all, if you'd care to sample it! This is the ONE food I simply cannot refuse to indulge myself with! I saw three of them in the display case at Price Chopper and grabbed for the box and paper to put them into my cart! Sigh.....they are SOoooo good!

Temp at 24 out there, and heavy frost over our couple inches of snow. My remote truck starter sometimes works, and sometimes doesn't. Am hoping I can start truck from bathroom window this morning so frost will be all melted by the time I get out there. Company that installed the starter can't figure out why it won't work sometimes. Guess it's just a temperamental one!

Time to feed Twitch and Molly, get dressed, do my email answering, and get out of here. Hope you all have a good day, wherever you might be!

I'm up here, too. Frost on the deck, but not a heavy frost. I would be sooooooooooooo depressed if I had to deal with snow this early in the season. I'm glad i'm down here in the "tropics" of the Champlain Valley! :D

I'll pass on the muffin and get my bowl of sliced banana and milk, and a slice of toast,... Thanks for putting the coffee on,... yummmm it smells so good!

Have a great day, Soos,... and all the rest of you sleepyheads,... rise and shine!

Good Morning to everyone - Well today is GO day - we'll be leaving as soon as it gets light and hopefully warmer. Bill says he hates to hook the car when it is so cold (around 28 now) makes his hands hurt. I told him I'd sit on his gloves until we got off the hill and could pull over to hook the jeep. Who knows - might help. He just looked at me crooked. Any way we think we have everything done, turned on, turned off, put in Alfie, notified etc. Sure something will come up that didn't get done - but too late - or stop at WalMart. Tonight we will probably be staying at the Casino Queen RV this side of the river in Saint Louis. After that no plans except Go West and be in Vegas for Thanksgiving. So Intrernet will probably be sporadic at best. Will take pictures and pop in when I can. Will also try to update my blog when possible. Been over a year since we set out on a long trip - don't know if I'm hesitant or happy.
Well have to go take last things out of refrig and pull some plugs. Chat when I can

Gooooood Morning!

Sleepy head??? Well I guess maybe? Woke up at 5 to do a potty run and then just stayed up. But my motors not running at peak yet. ?? Actually I don't think that old thing ever runs at peak anymore!!! Grabbed a cup of coffee and took the dogs out and stood out there with my eyes closed kinda weaving and slightly bobbing. I think I was dozing out there?? I am not happy waking up 30 minutes before the alarm. Set the blasted thing to get 7hrs sleep and then only get 6 1/5hrs. sheesh! I was really pooped last night too. Usually Shade and I go to bed and we play for about 15min or so. Not last night. I set the alarm, got undressed, crawled into bed and I was out!! She did get at least a small belly scratch tho before I succumbed to the sleep zone!! For whatever reason I was just wiped out last night. ~sigh~

Didn't get much time on the laptop last night. I think it was about 8:30 or so before we got home. I clocked out of the work computer at 7:10, thought Kelly was clocking out too? Nope what I thought was her e-time window was actually a window for a fixed pay program she was setting a customer up on. So she didn't clock out until a few minutes past 8pm. I sat out in the Blazer with the seat laid back trying to catch a small snooze. She came out then has to go right back in and use the little girls room! HA So it was about 8:30 when we got here. Fixed some supper, cruised the laptop while eating and that was it. I got to read the latest postings but not much else.

Well I think I'll go check out my other stuff on here and of course read my comics. I don't have any muffins this morning but I do have a pack of Duplex Cookies here that I'm willing to share if anyone wants some!

Hope everyone has a great day. Stay safe.

Love to all

Good morning from Carol and Liz. We are at Lake Claiborne State Park in northern LA. It has rained the last two nights, but was only mostly cloudy while driving yesterday from Fort Worth area. The rain seems lighter this am, so hope it will clear up when we get back on the road. I can't complain because we had great weather driving to TX and for the GTG. We'll have Cheerios with fruit for breakfast here, am enjoying the coffee right now.

Hope you have a wonderful trip west Carol and Bill; I'll be looking forward to pictures.

Morning gals, my hat's off to you dealing with snow and frost! I lived and worked in the snow for many years. Miss the
skiing but not the shoveling, hauling wood, icy roads.

My DD is going through a rough time, so I'm sad and worried. Keep her in your thoughts and prayers please.
So will take a long walk at the lake, then offer massages for DD and her Nanny. They can take turns watching DGD, that should work out.

Have a great day everybody.

Diana, I'll be praying for your DD and for you too. These situations are hard on Grandmoms too and sometimes the only thing we can do is worry and pray.

I am ashamed to say I have no clue what DD, DS, DIL, or any other such letters might stand for, but, due to how they are being used, I am assuming they are living creatures who are having problems and needing help. I am not sure if they are 4-footed creatures, or two-footed creatures, but, whichever, I hope things will work out so that everyone can be happy.

My buddies on the Open roads Singles group already know that I am severely retarded when it comes to abbreviations! I NEVER use text messaging, or even Instant messaging stuff...so I am totally ignorant of commonly used letters that most people seem to understand. Sorry about that! That is why I had no clue what NAS stood for at the campsite in TX that I loved! (Nas is a nickname of mine, too!)

I really have tried to become more literate with abbreviated terms, but I seem to be making no progress! I sometimes forget some abbreviations within the same message! Somebody told me the other night that I am just 'too literal' for my own good....and I guess they were correct!

Anyway.....I will try to just keep quiet when I don't understand something....or make a wild guess as to what it might mean! DD means Designated Driver, to me, but I think it might mean something else in these recent messages, yes?

Oh well....sorry to be so ignorant of today's way of communicating!

Oh, no worries! DD is my Dear Daughter and DGD is my Dear Granddaughter! NO DH for me or MIL. But I do have a SIL.
(DH - husband, MIL - mother in law and SIL - sister in law). Many others no doubt that I am not aware.

Thanks Liz and Laurie for your kind words. My DD seems to be handling things very calmly, surely more maturely than I did at her age. Thank goodness for that! Just so many complications ahead.

Goodnight all.....
