Ok, all----it looks as if I won't be able to post on Women RV any more from here, anyway, as it won't let me log on. When/if, after about 10 to 15 log-on tries, I finally do get on, when I try to reply to a post or start a new one, I get sent back to the log-in screen, and the process begins all over. Needless to say, the frustration of not being able to get on and stay on is driving me into a frenzy! I seem to recall a few others having this problem in the past----did any of you discover why you can't get on any more? I sure would appreciate knowing what insidious changes in my browser r computer, due to "updates" may be the ones preventing me from logging on. I always have to log on in this group now, too, but, after about 5 or 8 tries, I usually get on and can stay on through several of the screens and rooms. So, if someone on the other group is wondering why I am not posting, please let them know I am no longer allowed on there! Or, the site no longer recognizes my log-in. Or something!
EDIT: Let's see if my latest changing of allowing cookies from this site might allow me to continue----
GOOD MORNING TO ALL!
It got down to 33 here last night, but I am toasty in the trailer with my furnace going on and off all night. It looks as if the sky might be getting ready to clear and give us some warming sun.
I guess I will probably pass on the truck camper, as my truck is a half ton with a short bed, and I would be better off with a lighter camper for it. Also, I am not so sure I wish to spend a bunch of time and money fixing it up at this point. Better that I spend my time next summer finally getting to my old trailer and getting that renovated. But the price is such a deal that it nags at me. I also can work on getting the inside of my truck cap more camping friendly when I get to FL. I have taken out all the niceties I had in there to make it a weekend camper, like the bed, stove, small clothing bureau plastic thing, pots and pans, etc.----although I still have my attachable tent in there. I also have one blind that I finally put up in Orlando that actually stuck all summer, so I can work on getting the rest stuck up to make it more private at night. More affordable, less work----just not half as comfy as a truck slide-in would be! Sigh.
Mandy and I got the nursery primed yesterday (as I mentioned, the paint and primer are toxic-free and approved by her obstetrician) and today we will add the color on the walls. It looks as if Joe's friend won't be coming here with him as we had all hoped, so the heavy moving of stuff will be left to him and me. The basinett has shipped to the local WalMart, as has the crib mattress. We can pick those up soon. Hopefully Joe is bringing the crib today.
I will be taking a bunch of clothing from both Joe and Mandy back to my house for a yard sale next year. That will free up a bunch of space here for people to sleep when the birthing time comes. I feel very lucky to have my own little house right here in the driveway!
Coffee is hot, so stop by and sip while you type a few words! Thanks for the input on the truck camper Carl, and everyone.
Now let's see if I can stay logged on here!
EDIT: It worked! I can get back on again, and reply and do all that good stuff! Please remind me what I did if I should ever get back into that situation again after some other danged "Update"!!
