Good morning everyone, coffee is on, have some fresh baked apple pie if you would like a slice. Also have yeast doughnuts. A great morning for relaxing and enjoying a cup or two along with great conversation.

Beth thanks for all the help getting me back online. Took a bit of work but finally here I am.

Barb it was so good to see your name pop back up on here. So happy things are beginning to settle down some for you and your family. Just know when you need a hug, pop on here and you will get a bunch of them.

Anyone out there a good accounts payable clerk, I am in need of one. I lost the girl that was doing that portion of the work so had to work a lot this week doing my job and hers. Hoping that when I get ready to make a trip, they are generous with my time off. My boss camps a lot too, so we have many discussions about travel, camping, problems with units and such. Always makes for enjoyable lunch times.

The weather is great here in Florida right now, cool at night and bright and sunny during the day. You can begin to see the colors changing and fall setting in.

Now girls, help yourselves to all the candy in those two bowls there, and you don't even have to be in costume to get some.

Time for a refill on my coffee cup, everyone help yourselves.

Gooooood Morning!

Yep it's Saturday and I'm up. YAWN!! Been up since 5:30, just haven't been able to get the motor running. Grabbed my first cup of coffee on our way out the door taking the dogs out to P, I think I inhaled it! Since then I've drank half the pot, been back out side with the dogs and have been trying to scrub the sleepy gunk out of my eyes. Oh my I sure could have slept in this morning. My luck tomorrow when I don't have to get up for any other reason than to just get up??? I will probably be wide awake at 5am and feel like I could hit the floor running. ARRRGGGHHH ~sigh~

Kinda nice on the backporch this morning actually. Temp is about 40 with a breeze that's just strong enough to set my ceramic windchimes to clinking, clacking and tinkling, love the sound of the thing. Bought it about 10yrs ago out in Colorado. But other than the windchime and a train horn off in the distance it was so nice and quiet out there. Only a car or two out on the 4 lane and no one else in the neighborhood reving up their cars to go to work. So I enjoyed the time I spent out there with the dogs.

Gonna put in at least 4hrs at work today? Maybe a little more if Kelly is agreeable to it. We will have to see? LOL It is really something else up there with all the tension? I'm not sure but they must be in competition this month with one of the competitors?? It's always a competition but it has started out rough this month. Found out yesterday that night shift is having feuds too. Even the supervisors are squabbling amongst themselves. Karen?? I don't know about being upbeat? But other than grumbling here? Sure doesn't make sense to have a melt down over the place. Tho there have been a couple of times I have really teetered on the edge of one. Plus the knowledge that this is not going to be my life career helps me to hold onto my sanity. Not that there's really all that much left of it in the first place!!!

Ok Kelly just staggered out of her bedroom and into the bathroom to take her shower. It's time for me to get this old butt in gear!

GOOD MORNING ALL! It's 47 degrees outside this morning, and gloomy, rainy, and grey. I am facing 4 days off, so am in no hurry to do anything! It might be a good day to travel the 45 miles to the nearest 'city' to do some serious food shopping and perhaps get me some new things to wear to school.....a new Target store has opened up, we have a Sam's Club and a Wal-Mart there. I love shopping when I can't be outside.

I am glad to see so many volunteers gathering in Orlando (actually right in the back yard of the house I own down there where my son is now living) to join in the grim search for poor little Caylee Anthony's remains. I get so sick when I think of what must have happened to her. I feel horrible for her grandparents who must by now realize what their daughter has done to their beautiful grandchild.

I'm having reheated cinnamon-hazlenut coffee this morning, and might have a sunny yellow banana before I head out into the damp, grey world. Molly was excited to notice the deer in the yard by the old apple tree this morning, eating the last of the drops around its trunk. They are facing a long, cold, and sometimes almost impossible season in the woods blanketed by deep snows and sometimes cutting ice on top of it. I always marvel at how they adapt to all the seasons we have up here, and all the blood-sucking bugs of the warmer ones!

Good morning everyone from the TX gtg. Carol and I are up with our coffee on this chilly morning with the heat running in our rigs. I checked on the newest hurricane out there, but although Cuba will get slammed, right now it looks like it will miss the US.

We have no special plans today, so it should be a relaxing one. Roe and I may check out another hiking trail here at the park.

Poor Peaches- she begged me for about 45 minutes before I agreed to walk her this morning and then we just did a quick circle with me promising to get back out with her in an hour or so when the sun has a chance to heat things up a bit. After the previous night needing to turn my furnace on, I got my little electric heater out last night - I refuse to pay for propane to heat when I'm already paying the electric through the site fee. I'm amazed how well this little thing does - especially since I don't have my sun shade up in the front window or the cover over the front window.

Drinking a cup of hot chocolate - then I intend to take a hot shower and hope that the hot water makes my neck and shoulder feel better - nothing seems to be working except very short term - guess that muscle that I don't know how I hurt, just needs it's own time to heal.

We're off to the wilds of Vinita, Oklahoma this morning to go to the Vinita Indian Territory Day celebration and get free flu shots. Margie rented a car, so three of us can ride instead of just two in my pickup.

Last night was the final night of our four-day training--and our 5-hour shifts. Starting Monday night we go to 10-hours a night, four days a week, which will then go to 11 hours/night the end of November. I have mixed feelings, especially after finding out about the SS money. I know I'll keep working because I'd probably be very bored if I didn't, and the money will be good. The job is easy, but I'm having a hard time visualizing being on my feet walking from one end of the building to the other many times a night on concrete floors. We'll see how it works out.

Lou is going to be able to meet me in Tulsa for my birthday, so we're checking out plane fares and reservations. I can't wait!

It is cold here and feels particularly uncomfortable because it has been so lovely for so long. We rarely have such a good fall, not too hot and not too cool with little rain.

I like Target stores Nasoosie seems like they have a better quality of clothes plus a nicer feel or layout of their stores. I don't shop Wal Mart or big outlets ,I get lost plus I've read a lot lately on how buying at the smaller chains regularly, you get better bargains and actually save more money because smaller stores frequently have unadvertised sales plus the fact that when you buy in bulk you feel compelled to eat it before it goes bad, among other statistics. I tend to shop in Co-ops & farmers markets for most food, I want to know where the food is grown and that my eggs aren't served up with melamine!

Chris, I know what you are going to feel after 11 hours or even 8 hours on your feet on concrete--PAIN! Wearing a pair of really great shoes like a lace up Birkenstock plus wearing support hose will help. Since you have the back up of SS don't do yourself in, if you find your feet and legs protesting quit!

Good Morning from Oregon !
It's a rainy day today so I'm just sort of hanging out.
Yesterday was a beautiful day so I spent alot of time outside - 2 trips to the beach and a trip to Old Town. I do try to take advantage of non-rainy times here. I also ran a cable inside from the outside cable hookup so on days like this when the satellite doesn't work I can just hook up the free cable - It's great !! Much better then standing out in the pouring rain trying to hook up the cable.
Not sure what I'm going to do today - I have the movie Journey to the Center of the Earth (with 3D glasses) so I'll probably watch that and take a nap - pretty ambitious plans, I know, but I'll try to get all that done - HA !!!

Well I swear ALL of Branson is decorated for the Ozark Christmas Season-- & I still have out my FALL decorations---- I guess it is time to fine my Christmas lights & things also!!!! And start putting out my Christmas things ------if I'm going to decorate----might as well be for long enough to enjoy all the work of decorating!!!

It is crisp here this morning------- & the wind has taken off more of the Fall leaves-----so we are having different views than we had with all the leaves on---------

Good Morning all! (actually it's 7:45 p.m.!) I just got home a little while ago ... the school's 75th anniversary open house is over,... done,... my responsibility is finished,... whew! 14 months of planning and the evening was a huge success. I was co-chair of the event. As nice as it was to have the event, I'll not volunteer to serve on any committees for a long time,...

I think tomorrow I'll just kick back in the recliner and watch a movie or two! That's after I tune in here!
