Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Good Morning All,

Hi ho, hi ho, it's off to work I go... Wonder what we will get into today. South campground opens on Friday, so I know that it will be final check of grounds, buildings etc. in that area. Then my co workers and i, on the bldg. maintenance crew will be spending more time keeping up on the buildings. I'm sure there will be more campers here this coming weekend and we know we will be full over Memorial Day. But working the buildings will be a nice change from the more heavier physical work, the which of is almost done.

And of course my two days off were busy as usual. Think I am getting pretty well caught up around here. Cut ny neighbors grass yesterday. At least the front anyway. Got to fill the gas can before I can do the rest. Had planned to work in my TT yesterday afternoon, but those plans got laid aside when I cam home and found that my neighbor had gone and picked up a truck load of the mulch I wanted from a landscape place near here. So I spent the afternoon spreading that stuff out. All done. Just need to pay him yet. Then a RE team came out and looked over and measured my house and are going to give me a CMA on it. Final decision as to whether or not to list is yet to come. I want another opinion from another realtor as well.

The weather turned cloudy and a bit chlly again today. Enjoyed the two days of sunshine we had. Warm up coming though, so that will be nice. And so far Memorial Day weekend looks good. But we all know that weather forecasts are set in jello anyway.

Looks like everybody's doing spring things, working in the yards, waiting for rains to stop, heading out on the road, looking at RV's to buy etc.... So enjoy whatever you are doing. I am off to work.

Good morning Sue & everyone that follows!

Sue, enjoy your day at work getting things ready for opening weekend.

It's an overcast day on the eastern shore of MD but the weather people are saying we are supposed to have more sunshine today than we did yesterday, of which we had a good bit. Personally, I'm hoping we're going to get some of the rain showers that we haven't gotten the past couple day.s My veggie garden needs the rain and if we don't get it, I'll be watering the garden after work.

My sister will be allowed to leave the rehab she's in day after tomorrow. Unfortunately, a friend of hers died this past weekend and her hubby left early this morning for Asheville NC to go to the funeral tomorrow. He won't be back in this area until late on Friday, so hubby & I will be going to Baltimore to bring her home. I'm trying to think of something to fix her for dinner once she gets home. I'm not sure what that will be yet, but I'm sure I'll come up with something.

Take care everyone & enjoy your day.

GOOD MORNING TO ALL!

Sue has been busy, as usual, and Irmi is getting prepared to get her system back home. It will be an exciting for her!

Here are a couple of pictures of my front sidewalk that was my 'test' of the cement/pavement color paint I had Lowes mix for me.....I think it matches just about perfectly, so now I am off to get 3 more gallons for the driveway.

It was another cool, quiet night, and it's a cool, quiet morning here. Forecast is for it to warm up considerably again for the weekend. Kids called last night and told me about a huge RV show in Kissimmee this weekend, and invited me to their house (my trailer) to go see it with them. So, depending on how hot it gets, I will either stay here until Saturday morning and meet them there so I can leave Molly here in the coolness, or go there Friday, stay overnight, and leave Molly in their house with their kitties while we view the money-sappers!

It has been so interesting to watch and hear the attempt to find 12 jurors for Casey Anthony's trial, as so many, like me, believe she is guilty as sin. I have been glued to the TV in between working in the yard and swimming and bike riding. So far, they have found only 11 jurors out of over a hundred that they have interviewed.

Hope you all have a happy day no matter where you are and what you may be doing. My son said last night that he is pretty sure Mandy (my daughter) is still trying to find the best dates to come down here and ride home with me----the hangup being that her brother and Melissa want to schedule a vacation trip at about the same time she wishes to come, and she really wants to see them. Schedules and times----a thing of my past! I will just hang out and whatever will be will be----I can be ready to haul out of here in about 4 hours!

Here are the pics of my sidewalk:

Guess which part has been painted! I think I matched the paint color just about perfectly.

Another view of sidewalk. Now it's off to Lowes for 3 more gallons of paint to do the driveway.

Happy Wednesday!
Life is about learning to dance in the rain
Happy travels!

Paint looks like a perfect match to me Soos, hope it stays cool long enough to finish the drive way. Having no experience with painted driveways I'm guessing you do this with a roller.

Sun here this morning and warm enough I didn't have to turn the furnace on to warm up the house. I had vivid strange dreams for what seemed like all night so I feel like I'm still not quite awake. When dreams are so real it makes me wonder if they are sort of out of body experiences, astral/astro traveling while sleeping maybe.

The dogs are gathering to give me the look to remind me it's their breakfast time. Hope everyone has a fun day.

Looks like another beautiful day here in central Texas. Upper temps in the 80's and a 30% possibility for stuff to fall out of the sky...yep rain. Better chance Fri and Sat. But we will take what He decides to give us when He decides to give it to us.

Will be a lazy day for me as I wait at the shop for my rig to be serviced. Never know how long it will take. But I have coffee and my laptop so it will be okay.

Looking at the calendar and seeing what I can do trip wise over the next couple of months. One thing I am committed to is going thru my storage unit and getting rid of a bunch of things that I can buy whenever I need something for a stick/brick house. Another commitment is to house sit for my bro and SIL while they vacation in Hawaii in late June and early July. Colleen (longdog2) and I have been looking a RV's as I want to downsize from my 30' to something more like 26 or 28' diesel. Lots of nice stuff out there and looked at a non-diesel P26 Itasca Sunstar that is 26'11" a real beauty listed at 89K and it is a 2011 (used). People bought it and the decided that they couldn't afford the payments and brought it back...lost their shirts on that one. Any way there are more rigs out there to go see! Don't really want to change until Dec or Jan. Just want to see what I want, or think I want. Can always stay with what I have as it has lots of storage and moves forward and backward.

If you are on the road, be safe. If you are parked, have fun. If you are working, save those 'diesel dollars' as Sprinter likes to say.

Good Morning

Another cool, cloudy start to the day but temps will warm into the low 70s today and there is a chance of sun for the afternoon. We will be pushing 90s again by the weekend; didn't want it quite that warm.

Great job on the paint match, Soos.

Irma - Good news on your sister's release from hospital.

So far my sister is doing well. Her two daughters did a fine job looking after her while I was at Carol's. Now if I can just get them to stay involved with her care, it will help make my life easier and hopefully improve hers. Know it would make sister happier to see them more often.

My guardian angel must still be watching over me. My low tire warning light came on shortly before Liz and I left for Carol's. Dealer put air in it, said not low enough to worry about as the sensor is very sensitive on my van. It came on again the day we went into Murphy, NC grocery shopping. Added more air at a friendly shop near Carol's and tech thought it might just be the valve stem loose. Light came on again yesterday; this time I decide to have tire shop check it out. Good thing as there was a screw in it. Can't believe I drove it all the way to NC and back without a flat or worse. Thankfully they were able to patch the tire; it barely has 30,000 miles on it and I am not ready to have to replace tires yet.

My TO DO list seems to be moving in the wrong direction - growing instead of shrinking. Will limit my computer time today and see if I can reverse that growing trend. Have already stripped the bed and have clothes in washer so one item almost checked off.

Birdie - Good luck on your RV hunt. Take us along on one of your shopping trips.

Wishing all a safe day with some fun sprinkled into it.

Wow, Sarah, you are really lucky with that tire. That's one thing that scares me is a blow out.

Happy to report that after a day at the hospital/dr's office we know for sure that the Goddess does NOT have a blood clot. Docs think her brace has caused her calf muscle to knot up. We were quite happy to head home with muscle relaxers and schedule for some therapy and maybe a new brace that works better without the stress.

I was so exhausted, mentally and physically, that I think I was asleep before they anounced the final 3 couples on Dancing With the Stars. Oh well, I knew it was time for Ralph to go. Funny that I fall asleep at home with the TV on something that I pay very little attention to, but in the Seeker I don't even have a TV and fall asleep listening to that big outdoor TV called nature.

All is good here and the weather is warming up as my countdown lowers - 10 days to go!

Raining and blowing here again....yesterday was a jammie, movie, 'pooter day and today isn't looking good either! Didn't make it to the gym...again...so Miss Chewy and I are heading to the living room and the treadmill for an indoor walking session. If there's something good on tv. She does really well on the treadmill if I'm on with her, not so good by herself. Daughter suggested hanging a hot dog in front of her...I thought that was kind of mean. She's gotta loose some weight before I take her into the vet for her teeth cleaning and shots. I'm getting kind of tired of Dr. Z giving me those sideways glances when she feels Chewy's ribs. Chewy says it's all fur...none of us believe her. :?

Guess that's about it on the report from this side of the country, like I said yesterday, really kind of boring. Diana (Mtn.gal) gave me a 3 min job...Oh yeah, and I've got to go get batteries in the truck and go down to DMV and argue with them. If it quits raining.

Those on the road stay safe, and those sitting, find something fun to do! If it wasn't for Liz and Nan's travels and Mitch and Vicki's shenanigans I'd be pulling my hair out! What little I haven't chopped off, that is.

Birdie only "thought" she was going to have a nice relaxing day. She gave me a call from the RV repair shop and asked me to pick her up there as it was going to be an all day job. I said sure and headed down there. Dropped her off to pick up her car from the RV park and said "come on over for coffee when you get done with your errands". She showed up at the house while I was out at Lowe's buying a 10 foot ladder because DH was going to work on waxing the 5ver. Next thing I know, Birdie and I were waxing too. She's a pro and even climbs ladders to get the top part. After we got done with today's part, I rode along while she picked up her "motor house" and then followed her back to the RV park in her car. Got her all hooked back up and then we came back to my house for a grilled dinner. A great day with a great friend. She even said she would be back in the morning. You can't beat that kind of a friend.

Birdie's the best of friends. She's a keeper for sure! Glad you had such good help on a big job.
