Vickie, me, Flick, and Laura Skyped once or twice. It worked fine, except for Vickie - locked up her con-fuser. She thinks (and I concur) that she has a camera issue. For the rest of us, it worked fine, once you get used to the slight delay. Then Vickie and I Skyped voice only several times. We're now tired of each other.

What do you mean, we're NOW tired of each other??? I never liked ya from the get go! :o

Good afternoon,
Going on 2 here in the rainy, drippy PNW!
My head surgery went fine this AM. The Dr got everything in the first slice so he stitched me up (4 stitches) and put a pressure bandage on.
I look really wonderful with a huge white lump taped to the top of my forehead, but am thankful that it's done and was caught early. Goodness, after he took the slice I had to wait in a special waiting room for the results with 5 others getting tested. Some of those people have had their entire noses reconstructed because of skin cancer. I really felt sorry for one man, who was with his wife. He had skin cancer on his nose and didn't even know it! Not sure how it was caught, but he was visibily shaken about it and was on the second go-round when I left.
I get the stitches out in a week.
Tomorrow, my eye cataract surgery. Keep the prayers and good thoughts flowing!
I'm off to take a nap.

Lenora, so glad that this surgery is over. And that it went easily. Now, #2 - hoping it'll go just as well tomorrow - then on to #3 and the same.

Lenora glad the surgery went well and they were able to get all the skin cancer. Will keep you in my prayers for your cataract surgery tomorrow. I agree, I hope someone is there to drive you home and stay with you a little while.

Thanks for checking in Lenora, and good luck today with the eye surgery. I'm glad the surgeon got the whole shebang off your forehead this time! Will be sending happy thoughts your way today!
