Sunday right?

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Sunday right?

Postby avalen » Sun Nov 28, 2010 8:36 am

Good morning ladies
coffee is ready, and from the looks of it a second pot is gonna
be required. Its definitely cold this morning and a little chance
of rain. The girls have had their breakfast and gone back to
bed as they don't want any part of shivering this morning.
A slight chance of rain today so I'll have to clean out the car
in between raindrops.
Will get uniform shirts done up and be ready for a new week
tomorrow. Let the new adventures begin, although not the
kind of adventures I'll cherish but it is what it is.

Bright Sunshine at least here in Dothan Alabama... I woke early hearing a truck sounded like generator roaring... think he was fixing breakfast... that was fine as I had been in bed many hours already... got up took a sponge bath then took Shadow out for a little walk... it was 33 degrees and will be in the mid 60s later today...
I will go to Camping World later when they open up at 11... have to get a few things like the vent blocks and insulated cover for front windows... maybe tire covers not sure...
Sue I looked at the snow one more time this morning it sure is pretty from afar... I used to love all seasons but now my body says go south old woman go south...
Soos I do hope they found that young man... very sad...
I am finishing off the fruit salad that Sarah so kindly left with a banana added for volume... Thanks for the coffee Ava... would love to hear about everyone's day and any adventures you have planned...

It's frosty here this morning but the sun is bright and it should warm up soon. Kathleen I'm hearing my bones speak (more like complain) to me this year too
Ava I hope this all works out for you and that soon your life will be back on track.
Everyone enjoy your day.

GOOD MORNING AVA, KATH AND ALL!

It's cooled off down here, but will be up in the 70s later as the sun comes up. The temperature at home is 23, so I really appreciate this temperature in the 60s here!

Today the kids will come with me to the Orlando house and we will try to get the new sectional sofa I bought for a wicked deal yesterday through the doors and set up. I'll have to deal with my new table and chairs later.

I also need to establish a pharmacy down here so I can get my drug prescriptions refilled. I will probably use Publix, as it's possible for me to ride my bike there and then I can also use other Publix pharmacies throughout the state. I will stay there overnight tonight as I am expecting Broward again tomorrow to try to get that washer repaired. I also need to do some banking and phone calling. I'll try to get on the chatroom tonight as I will have my cable internet.

Haven't checked on the status of the missing kid at home yet, but I greatly doubt they will find him now until spring, if even then. But there is always hope, if they don't find him dead.

Hope you all have a good weekend, doing something different, or enjoying the pre-holiday stuff going on everywhere. Kath is dealing with cold weather, and probably can't wait to feel some warmth!

Happy Sunday!

Happy travels!

Kathleen, you are in my ole stomping grounds. How I miss "Camping at Camping World". The way I got the rig I have now is that I was there with my old one.. and just happened to park beside one that was for sale. So careful where you park! hahaha

Wish I could come up there today. I'm unloading (er giving) some crap.. (fine possessions of age) to a friend today out of my garage. This is an opportunity I can't miss. Normally I have to pay to get stuff out of my garage.

I have been enjoying our cooler temps. Great sleeping weather. Unlike my neighbors, I haven't turned on the heat yet. More clothes works for me. I am frugal. With the rv repair bills, I have to be. :)

Morning!
Enjoying my coffee and watching the news. Looks like our weather will return to more normal for a while. Drippy, in the 30s-40s.
Today is my DD's 40th birthday!! I just texted her a "good luck" as she is running a race today. I'm not sure where she got the exercise gene from. Certainly isn't from me, but she's been working out and athletic since middle school.
My house needs cleaning...anyone want to volunteer? :D ;)
I finished my Christmas shopping yesterday. Just a few gifts for the 3 GDs and gift cards for my DS/DD and SIL and DIL. ME? I told my DD if she was buying me something to get me a new teakettle. I'd rather get something I need as apposed to something that sits and collects dust. My DIL will do that... ;) :)
Ok, need to catch up on what everyone is up to. Hope all is going well/better for those of you struggling with $$/job issues. Hugs!

Good morning everybody
I really need to get in the habit of coming on here first thing in the morning. i seem to miss out on so much of what is happening. saw there is another Alice on here ~ Hi AliceM. My name is Margaret Alice and I go by Ali. I was called Ali by my dad and i just feel so loved when I am called that so that is what I am going by.

Soos sorry to hear about the young boy. Always sad when parents lose a child.

We have sold 2 trees so far. Heard another friend has sold 60 already this year - she is on the east coast. Sure hope our business picks up soon. We did get another delivery of 20 more trees so now we have 40 on the lot. Prices range from $21 to $79.

It is overcast and a little drizzly out there this morning. Going to go have breakfast - a grapefruit. A gift from a friend (a full basket of fruit before we left Blaine last week). i don't buy them because I can never tell if they are good or not.

Hope everyone has a great day today!

GOOD MORNING SISTAHS!!!

We have a winter wonderland outside this morning! Neighbor told me yesterday that we were suppose to have a wicked storm come thru today. Checked the weather page last night and it said it was suppose to start snowing anytime after midnight. I woke up at 5:30am, looked outside and nothing. Now when I got back up a little after 8am? Yep there it was.....

http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid= ... .583527676

That's a link to Kelly's photo album on facebook. Only 4 of the pics are of the snow. But we've got a little over an inch out there now. I don't see anymore falling at the moment but will wait and see. When she said wicked storm? I was expecting 6" or more. I guess I really should remember where I am, what state!! Altho the one woman that stays at the Lodge all winter with the owners likes to post pics of the snow they get up there at close to 9000ft. She posted the other day that it had gotten down to -32f. OMG! :o  Now that was just the temp, have no idea on a windchill factor! But I'm glad we aren't up there!

Had left over turkey, stuffing, gravy, squash and some green bean casserole last night for supper! Oh YUM! I was in heaven and made an oink of myself.
Nothing planned today, we lead very boring lives. Don't need anything from the grocery store. so that's out. I could I guess go to the auto parts store and pick up a few lite bulbs for in here? Nah! We got lights enough for now so I'm NOT going out there on the roads with the crazies. We could go do laundry? YUCK, nope not gonna do that either in the snow. Put that off again, I hate laundromats and doing laundry. Maybe I make Kelly go do that in a day or so all by herself? Yeah, that's the ticket, that's what kids are for! ;) 8-)

Ok, gonna pour me some more coffee, go read some postings and catch up with everyone! Hope everyone has a great day and make sure you all stay safe.

Love to all

Morning to All - it is still morning here on Pacific Time - today is very very windy and still cool - 48 with 25mph winds. Would be a nice day to go up into the mountains - nice clear views. Hummmm maybe I'll suggest it to the Driver. We are really rocking off and on.
Ali - sure glad you got some more trees and lower prices.
Ava settle in soon - know what you mean about other peoples dirt - when I was a kid we lived in an apt building with one bathroom and tub - ick.
Reading about Christmas I just realized I didn't give the gift I brought to my 2nd youngest son. Better get the one out for the oldest and youngest - or they'll end up in Mexico with us. Memory? What is Memory?
Better get working on my blog before the wind blows the internet away.
Take care, safe travels, and good weather wishes to all.

Unless she makes the pictures visible to everyone - you won't be able to access them unless she makes you her friend.
