Sunny Tuesday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Sunny Tuesday

Well, since nobodys up and starting today, I guess I will. Been up since 7, had breakfast of eggs and bacon topped off with a bananna afterwards. No coffee here though. Not a coffee drinker, but anybody want to come have some, I'll brew up a pot.

Not sure what I am getting into today. Have a meeting this afternoon and have a few things to do this morning. Nothing major. Don't like getting into major projects when I know I have to quit in mid stride. Do have some paperwork to do, so will work on that. And a few freezeable things to bring in from garage, plus run vacum around house.

Kathleen.you mentioned yesterday that you like my walking trail. Actually I have about 6 or 7 different areas I can walk in. My home is in a rural subdivision. There are two lakes here, with roads around both of them, well, one is only part way around. I can walk from here around the other lake which is about two miles, walk my road to one end and back to the other and thats a mile. Behind me there is a house in the woods and aruond them is all state land for about 40 acres maybe. Across the highway here are some more hmes scattered about on 10 acre plots and a small lake with another small sub. But all around them is state land. A large tract of state land with a lot of old two tracks running through. It's there that I do my big walks. There is also a snowmobile trail running alongside the highway and in fall when they mow the trail, thats leaves a big walking path. You could walk for over 75 miles on that trail if you want. So my furbabies and I have lots of walking places here. Plus I take them over to the park where I work summers too. Once the snow flies though, then we have to walk on the roads. Snow is way too dep to walk in woods. I can go with snowshowes, but they can't.

You nmentioned walking around Normal this winter. I thouoght you were heading south for winter.

And yes, come on up next summer. I would love to meet you if you are in the area. You can park Bright Hope here if you want. I can hook yu up to my power unless you need 50 amps. But I can't hook you up to sewer, unless we run a line into the house bathroom.
And that goes for anyboody else. Stop around and visit or stay a bit here if you are up in MI. If you want park accomodations, Otsego Lake State Park is just up the road three miles. But reservations are needed for summmer especially July-mid August, although we do have 6 sites off the reservation list for folks coming in off the road. I can find out what's open or not if you know you are coming up this way.

Am going to miss th FL gettogether. Maybe next year. Be nice if there was a spring one down there beforre everybody heads north, or one in the somokies or someplace north.

Am I only the second one up? I dont have much to post but i usually check in to what everyones's doing. Sue, that sounds like a beautiful place up there with all the walking places, but your place is probably a lot to keep up. I don't know what Ill do today, but it's going to be 77, 76, tomorrow , and 76 Thurs. It was cool last week and everyone was not ready for it and complaining. I'm actually thinking of going up to the Smokies maybe for a day or two, without the camper. One son and family may go up yheir for Thanksgiving, they haven't decided yet. We did that last year, DIL in the other family has to work.I also have a free night in the casino in Choctaw (Miss) I need to use, plus meal and about 10.00 credit. I may use that one day this week or next. Well, time to finish coffee, watch news, and get out for the day. Too nice out to waste. Wendy(Bham, Ala)

Good Morning SUE called you Carol yesterday but fixed it up... :D and fixed my boo boo on the city to McIntosh... Keeps everybody guessing is she or is she not... We will have a summer like day in the low 70 must get some finishing done on the basements... I truly believe there was more space in my one huge basement in the old MH than there is in all of these combined... my 5 gallon pail will not fit laying down or standing up... so my son in law gave me a shorter one it is very grungy... but I only use it outside anyway... will see if that will go in today... I also must get the books out and find out where the water inlet is to fill the fresh water tank... I am sure it is sticking right out in my face but I have gone around and around and could not find it... it must be in one of the basement compartments...
The lady from the insurance is coming this afternoon... she will have to climb in to get inside of this place... I think I should go on messiest house in the country...
When Tim my grandson comes to mow and rake I will have him help me put the storage benches in my office... it was so nice to have it for a while then it was the dump for all the stuff from the other MH... now it will fill up again... I will just shut the door...
When we have a bad day I will go to the DMV and get my license plates and my drivers license... use a bit of these good days to put things away...
Sue I go to my friends in Six Lakes and camp in her back yard... her yard is down a hill... my own private camp ground... not sure what the name of the lake is but Higgins sticks in my mind... I did not have my trike rack on when I was there summer before last but next year I will have it on... then I can take Shadow exploring in the day as T is working...
Time to move instead of dreaming... good morning to you also Wendy
Have a good day
Kathleen

Good late norning to all - we have been busy this a.m. doing last minute loading of Jennie - Tomorrow a.m. we hit the road (as of right now anyway) Not going too far tomorrow just to Park City, KY for the night. Have laundry in now and most of the food transfered - oops guess we'll have to go out tonight for dinner. Oh well.
Any way just checking in to let all know what is going on. Hopefully - tomorrow p.m. we'll be able to get the satellite up and working and I can check in. Till then. Happy Trails to All.

G'morning everyone!
Just a quick one as I'm about to get in the shower and then go bowling. Suppose to dump rain later today and only in the 40s for our high.
Thanks for letting us know your travel departure time, Carol. Godspeed!
Got a notice a month ago that they are going to pave over the RR tracks that go thru out little town so we can have a walking/running/bicycle trail. The first phase is 4 1/2 mi. and will end at the state park. Most of that will be downhill from here but coming back will be a workout, I fear.
Later! Enjoy your day!
