MONDAY MORNING AGAIN!

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

MONDAY MORNING AGAIN!

GOOD MORNING ALL!

It's a mild 28 degrees here this morning, and it looks as if the sky has finally cleared off after this weekend's nor'easter which dumped up to 10 inches of snow on the Whiteface Mountain area and surrounds. My woodstove is cranking up and feels good.

Today I need to clear up some house insurance stuff---to see if I now qualify for a discount on house insurance for this place with my alarm system installed. Also, my FL insurance agent can no longer be found at his business telephone number, so I called the company insuring my house down there to see why they elected to not renew me for next year. It seems they mailed the agent something that never got answered, about who was in charge of that place, or something, and so they plan to cancel. When I hung up the phone with them, they were trying to find out where in hell my agent is! He either died, left in the dead of night for parts unknown, went out of busisness, or whatever! I need to find an agency who will insure that place.

Then I will go to the bank and see what setting up a bill pay account will cost, if anything. I will also drop off the rest of the stuff I want to leave in the safe deposit box. I have a few groceries I need to pick up, a laundry to do, and then I am pretty much set to roll by the end of this month.

My friend with lung cancer begins her extreme chemotherapy and radiation doses today, and I am praying she will not be alergic to the stuff they are infusing her with. It's a very scary day for her. By tonight, the scariness about the way it will affect her should be abated, but the chemical sickness will have begun. It will be a long haul for her, to say the least.

Coffee is hot, so stop by and let us in on your doings. I hope you all have a wonderful day out there, wherever you might be. Anyone hitting the road, happy travels!

Good Morning All... Getting down to the nitty gritty of getting out of the North. ! Have to take my rig back down to the RV dealer today as the relay in the Remco Pump is no longer working.. (figures) so they called Remco and a replacement will be in some time today... soooooo another ride back and then install it and back home again...

We'll load up tonight and tomorrow and then head out Wed morning.. I'm getting the.."Are we there yet".. and ya think I wouldn't cause I'm the " DRIVER"... I take my time heading down as I'm only able to drive 6 hours.. then I have to pull over and rest.. at that time we usually are at the Flying J's.. (my favorite place to park).. and then leave early next morning..

Soos,... I had that happen to me with my home in Florida too !.. Seems it's a thing .. my policy was being cancelled as my Agent split.. and left many clients searchin'.. and because, like you, in another state I never received any word till I began to wonder why I hadn't received anything... duh... I called the main office and then thank goodness they re instated me.. but I also had heard that if they didn't I would have gone into that "State" insurance pool... Hope things work out for you.. and ya know .. I also made sure that they had my Pa address to send me notices.. pain in the butt !.. Prayers also for your friend and her difficult time.. I hope everything goes smoothly for her !

Lori, I'll be calling you soon as we get closer to you.. and yep, we'll have that lunch .. but you don't owe Robert and I.. we just enjoyed our visit and of course our "company "... really can't wait..

As for the Florida GTG.. I'll be there.. I mean.. I can't park..but I'll come up and visit with ya all.. and if any of ya get a wild hair... come visit.. any time... just call as I'm in a gated community... and I'd really love the visits...

Ok, I'm ready to get all my laundry done.. and yep, my coffee pot is perking away...

God Bless

Good Morning everyone... have been up since forever... think I got Margies' 'sinus' ha ha ha infection think it is really a cold she thought sinus 'me' thinks that is not contagious... bummer when that happens... just sitting here reading and catching up on things drinking coffee Soos made... where are the home made cinnamon rolls? :o

My weather report started out interesting... have Normal weather saved in my popular account and just above it is the national sex offender site... oh my the weather is fearsome  ... actually it is 50 and will be 65... looks a bit like snow clouds but the temp says no...

The new excitement has not worn off yet... but will not pack until after we steam clean the carpeting, couch and chair... that will make it feel more like mine... my three layers of bedding look great: 3" foam covered with washable cover, heated bed warmer, and mattress pad... many layers... have my chocolate brown fleece blanket waiting for sheets to be put on... the corner is a bit hard to do so my neighbor Cindy put it on for me... and I didn't even ask her to do it... it seems everyone wants to help... we have good neighbors... it seems I have always had good ones no matter where I move to...

sounds like Zeeee you will be on the road before Soos take care and drive safely will look forward to seeing everyone at the FL GTG...

Good afternoon!

Got up about 9:00 this morning. Have had a couple of cups of coffee thanks to my wonderful hubby. Made baked oatmeal for breakfast - it was tasty but the recipe is twice what we need for breakfast. Don't think reheating will be very tasty. Have been applying for work and reading blogs.

Yesterday morning I took time to write a blog post reflecting on life. We had two RV'ing friends killed Saturday morning in Pismo Beach while out for their morning walk. Bruce & Margie were full time RV'rs who's blog I followed each day. It seems a young man who was trying to commit suicide and crashed through a fence off the freeway down the embankment hitting Bruce & Margie, killing them instantly. It was sobering news to hear and led to many thoughts so I decided to write a blog post. You can check it out using my link below.

Today has been a pretty lazy day otherwise. We are going to the kids for dinner later this evening.

Wishing everyone a great day! Live life to the fullest as we never know what tomorrow will bring!

How, tragic, Ali. Who knows what can happen just going out for a walk? Prayers for their families.

So sorry to hear about your friends, Ali. My prayers go out to you & the family. Wishing you good luck on your job search too.

Slow day here as I had to wait for the tech to come repair the windshield on my RV. I had noticed a small chip while on the road home from TX. I thought it would be a small repair, but they recommended a whole new windshield.....so that's what we now have. At least insurance covers that. The chip was an old one and had been previously sloppily repaired....thus the recommendation to replace the windshield.

I finally finished the wax job too, so she's good for 6 months. I will wax again before leaving for the summer. A few other odd jobs...trimming the front bushes, a load of laundry, and my day is about done.

Hope everyone enjoyed the day. The weather is beautiful here.
