One more Lake Guntersville sunrise....I should have called Beth....she said she was going to miss these.

Carol and I will be on the road soon after saying our goodbyes here. I'll be checking in along the way to NE. Hope everyone has a beautiful day.

GOOD MORNING LIZ AND OTHERS!

What a beautiful sunrise over such a pretty lake. That seems like a perfect camp spot for me. Be careful on the roads, and I hope to see you before the summer is over up here in the moujntains. I can't remember if I told anyone that Mandy and I were able to fit my canoe into my trailer through the back escape window by tilting it just about a half inch-----it fits as if it were made for that window! I am so excited to know I can take it with me to FL.

I slept later than usual this morning, enjoying some interesting dreams. My dreams lately have been more realistic and vivid than usual, for some reason. I can wake up, then go back and pick up where I left off----very strange.

It's cool and overcast here this morning---a hot cup of coffee is tasting very good! It's only 60 F., so I need to put on some fleecey pants to sit here and type and read my messages. I managed to avoid actually doing any staining of the house yesterday, although, while sorting through some of my "stuff" I found my staining clothes and got all the cans and rollers and brushes ready to use. I did do a bunch of laundry and hung it out to dry in that fantastic wind and sun, and burned a bunch of cardboard cartons and boxes I needed to be rid of----last night after the wind died down with the sun.

This morning I will mow, and then go to the doc this afternoon for a regualr checkup, and do some basic shopping. This is my SS deposit day, and so I can pay off some more monthly bills, as well. Other than that, it's another Wednesday which are now like Saturdays, as are all those days! I hope you all have a good day doing something fun for yourselves.

One of my dreams was that I adopted 4 babies, who immediately became toddlers and wandered all over the place, causing me to lose the most busy one----a little boy who seemed older than he should be. Interesting. Maybe I can find him today!

Happy Wednesday and happy travels to you all.

Happy travels!

I seldom remember my dreams but this morning I was dreaming about trying to put on makeup and my brother had all the mirrors. And I couldn't find my glasses. I very seldom wear makeup so don't know what the occasion was. Dreams are so weird. The brother that had all the mirrors passed away in 2000.

Looks like we are going to get some more rain. It isn't raining yet but the radar shows it all around us. No plans for today. I need to iron some clothes for my upcoming trip so I don't end up doing every thing the night before. I want to put up some shelves in our old house above what would flood if we have another hurricane. We use it for storage and I would like to put some things up high so they don't have to be washed again. I need to get a new step stool because I have already fallen off a piece of trash my step daughter drug over here. It was a rusty step stool that she got at her grandmother's house. The salt water was really bad on anything metal. We are having to replace a bunch of gates.

Beautiful picture of the sunrise. Have a safe trip.

Liz and Carol are on their way. Peaches and I watched them leave. And I got at least one good butt shot of Carol- will upload pics to my blog later, probably tonight, as I have lots of errands to run today. I also THINK I got my best turtle picture (of one in the water).

I did wake up early and see that we weren't totally overcast, and hoped that Liz and Carol were up to watch the sunrise. I, however, did not crawl out of bed for another hour. They had the sunrise to watch from inside their rigs - even from their bedroom windows.

Soos, I rarely dream - but since I don't have to get up - will often, when I do remember a dream, go back to sleep and continue with them. I think they then take weird turns because I somehow direct them in my haze between sleeping. But I sure hope I never am dreaming of having 4 babies ... at this stage in my life :)

Have a great day all.

Four babies all at once Soos, eeek that sounds more like a nightmare to me than a dream!
Good to see a beautiful peaceful sunrise as it in everything but peaceful around her this morning. I have THREE big trucks $$$ in my front yard and I don't know how many men taking down part of one of our huge oak trees that died. Probably another loss from the storm last summer and the drought this summer. They are only taking one side as the other side is still green and I can't stand to see it all go at once. I hate loosing even a big limb from our trees!
Oh well guess it happens. Will probably cost us more to do it a this way but I'll be happier.
I am looking for a new insurance company since AARP raised everyone's rates in certain states, Il being one of those...and a lady is coming out to get the rest of the information she needs to give me quotes from several companies.
Safe journey Liz, Carol and everyone else on the road today.

Good Morning it is 78 already but will only get in the low 80s today... these days have been very productive... almost everything is marked for the garage sale... I have therapy today... had a bad night last night so got up and took a pain pill then slept in until 9:30 so way behind I am... oh my next week I have to tackle the dust and fur all over this place...
Liz and Carol safe travels loved that picture of the sunrise...
My sister in law died sunday... I had not seen her for years... there were 7 children in their family now there are only 3 left... such memories that bought back... the sad part is she had I believe 8 children by 3 different marriages and all of them were mean to her... what a sad situation to be in for your last years...
Enough sadness do have a good day everyone I am about to leave...

BJ I was mistaken when I posted about what my premiums were this year from AARP. Mine did go up $53, but then said that since I've had no claims the was automatically lowering my deductible. I'd rather they lowered my premium!
Great sunrise pic. My SIL, DS, and DD left a bit ago for a motorcycle ride around the Napa area. Won't be gone long as we have other places to go. Tomorrow we are doing some wine tasting in the valley and having a nice lunch there. Weather here has been perfect, of course the swimming pool helps! :P
Wishing everyone a blessed day!

Lenora, if you contacted them and asked to keep the deductible what it was and lower the rate, they might do that.

I just used AARP for the car I bought - only got one better quote - on a 6 month instead of annual - and haven't heard real good things about them with claims - so went back to Hartford and AARP. Will check in the spring when the rig is due - and see if they've come down on that - hate having to have my two vehicles insured separately - but did also when I had the scooter. Will do it as long as it's financially better for me.

It is so late, this is a good night instead of good morning to all.

Liz - thank you for that great photo of sunrise. Views like that are among the things I miss most not having a place on the lake any more.

It has been a very busy week for me. A few days at farm in east TN, couple of afternoons at Guntersville lake with Liz, Carol, Beth, and Jean plus helping a dear friend with wedding plans on very short notice. My friend just got engaged and is getting married in 6 weeks plus celebrating her 66th birthday.

I did not get many pictures at farm but did try to upload a few to photobucket. It is much too slow tonight. Will try again tomorrow and post if successful.
