Early Sunday.

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Early Sunday.

Crud! It's nice to start the forum, but I would rather be sleeping! It's 6:18 and I've been up for an hour and a half!!! What is up with that?! I must have too much on my mind because I wake up with ideas about the "move". It will hit me tonight.

I was so thankful to see your post from last night, Ava, and that you weren't having a stroke or anything major! Thanks for heeding all of the advice and seeking medical attention. Please keep us posted on what your doc says.

I think I am going to the RV show today. Don't need an RV (I hope), but want to see the maintenance class and the booths. Ok...I will probably go through he RVs just for fun. Its easier when you're not really looking for one.

Well...maybe I can get a few more winks. If not, I might as well get up and have breakfast. Have a great day, girls!

Good morning gals,
feel like I actually slept pretty good last night, woke up at 4 my time and decided
it was time to get up. The dogs are all still sleeping and its been an hour and a half.
I'm sure they will be up soon enough bugging me for breakfast.
Ok, I'm doing nothing today other than to get my uniform shirts washed. Thats it.
When the day warms up enough, I will take a little walk down the street. Taking
my tax info over to daughters as she said she wanted to go through my paperwork
to see if she can come up with another credit somewhere, she said I could deduct
my union dues as a work expense, but I've yet to see how that works when I don't itemize.
Maybe she knows something I don't, well, in the tax dept that is, cause I'm sure there
is alot she knows that I don't. At least she can still remember stuff!
Ok, I'm outta here, coffee is good and I'm going to make a little toast so I can take
my morning aspirin.
Hope you have good weather where you are and enjoy your Sunday.
Somewhere with Ava and Maggie

GOOD MORNING , GIRLS, AND THE OCCASSIONAL GUY!!

It's about 37 deg,. F. here this morning, grey, damp, more melting snow that fell in the night----all in all, not a very comfy day to be out and about!

I am doing a laundry, and then might take a trip to Chazy Landing to visit Mema, my kids' grandmother, who is having a birthday today. It will be my first trip in my new truck! I activated my gratis 3-year subscription to the Ford Sync program last night, and maybe it's gone through by now. I can't believe I get 3 YEARS for free! I'll let you all know what it does when I get on it. I know I can search for business, campgrounds, directions, etc.-----using my phone to download the info somehow. I am hoping the phone will allow all the directions to download to the truck and then I can end the call time minutes by signing off, but we shall see.

I am really dreading going back to work tomorrow, but my only hope is it will be the last time I have to do this after a 'vacation'---- I hope I will be on permanent vacation next year at this time!

I called my daughter, Mona, yesterday as it was her birthday. It was so good to talk to her.....for a long time I never thought I would be able to ever talk to her, or meet her. (She is the girl I gave up for adoption all those many years ago.) Her voice is so much like Mandy's, the daughter I raised, and her mannerisms are so like my family that it always amazes me! Those genetic traits and tendencies sure do run strong! I am hoping she and her daughter and her grandkids will be able to come to my retirement party this summer. We all have to find a time when everybody can be here.

Coffee is hot, and when my laundry is done, then off I will go to Chazy!

It sounds as if you are feeling better today, Ava? I hope so!

Happy Sunday, you all! Cedar and Kathy are just beginning their spring vacation! I sure hope the weather improves for them. TaTa for now!

Happy travels!

Been all over the board to find Ava's post before coming back to say good morning. Had to see what she said. Good news there - but still a concern, Ava, so make sure you go see the doctor for the further tests.

Beautiful morning here, not quite as cold as yesterday morning (although I slept an extra 1/2 hour or so - which means the sun had time to heat things up a tad more). And it's supposed to be a wonderful day and next several days. Hope so. And wish the same on all of you.

Was about to go next door and bother Miss Sparkle, but see she's here on the board right now, so will have some hot chocolate instead and wait awhile while she gets her reading and posting done.

I did a couple new posts to my blog and today hope to do one to it about Monte Sano - so for those of you who are interested - it'll be up-to-date later today sometime, figuring my connection stays as good as it is now.

Good morning gals! It is warm and sunny up here in the Upper Midwest! Gotta enjoy the day today since we are in for thunderstorms most of the week!

My dad's neighbor is 90 today so her family is having a big birthday bash for her, so we are going to that for awhile this afternoon. Gotta get back home tho to watch the last few hours of the Masters Golf Tournament! It is my favorite tournament and the course (in Augusta, GA) is absolutely beautiful with all the flowering trees and azaleas in bloom all around the golf course! And my top three favorite golfers are at the top of the leader board now (Tiger, Phil Mickelson, and Fred Couples).

Gotta pay bills today too. Yuck! I hate that since I usually don't have enough to pay them all, then have to decide who gets paid and who doesn't this month.

Buster is still limping so I think I will have to bring him in this week (with my dad's credit card). His knee still feels swollen so there is something still going on there that should be checked out.

Have a good day whatever you are doing! Ava, glad to hear you are OK but do get checked out on the neck thing. My mom had a partial blockage in her neck and had an angioplasty done to clear it out (not too bad of a proceedure tho).
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
