Almost Turkey Day!!!

GOOD MORNING SISTAHS!!!

Hump Day for some. For others of course it depends on what day you consider your Monday. It had to have been named Hump Day by someone who worked M-F 9-5.

Interesting, I was looking at the meaning or root of the word Wednesday. Wikipedia has different meanings of the word for different languages and cultures. In a lot of languages it simply means "mid week day". Gah! It's to early in my day for all that learning. He77 I ain't figured out yet why I haven't went back to bed!!! I tried really hard to not get up but my bladder and Shade would have none of that. So I got up and here I am. Humph! Shade is back to bed with Kelly! Traitor dog.

Got the coffee pot by my elbow nicely full of fresh hot coffee all ya need is to grab a cup and I'll pour ya some. Gonna have to rummage around to see what I can find for breakfast. Just might have some toast and peanut butter and call it good? LOL But if ya want to bring anything in with ya I'll volunteer to cook it as long as I can have a taste.

Ok gonna go check out my email and see what kind of trouble I can get into for the day. Hope everyone else has a super duper day and be sure to stay safe!!!

Love to all

It's pitch dark here. I'm going to go down by the river and watch the sun come up.

Good Morning All - the sun is just coming up here in Tucson. Forgot how cool it gets here in the desert at night.
And I am on our own Internet- Hooray!!!
Caught some kind of bug in my tummy - probably just let the internet thing get to me. Any way I'm going to try to talk Bill into just moving down the highway a piece towards the border. We'll stay there and get the laundry done (forgot about it - used to having a washer/dryer in the motorhome) and laundry room here leaves a little to be desired as do the restrooms.
Have a good day all and safe travels.

Morning gals! it's beautiful here in central Texas, I'm anxious to get outside, but wanted to pop in as I'm not been posting much lately. Had a cold, too many repairs, etc, etc. One chore finally finished....transferring title of Roadtrek from CA to TX...yay...I'm so glad that's done. Took only two trips to txdot! My washer is still out of commission, but two big boxes of parts arrived yesterday via UPS (they didn't tell me they were coming to me!) and will be completed on Friday. I've been doing alterations to pants for my DGD, she is a size two round the middle and a three in length so couldn't keep any up. Short of buying suspenders, I adjusted waist bands! Hope ya'll are having a fun day preparing for Thanksgiving!

Not sure why I'm getting later and later to post, but here I is!
I did my workout at Curves this morning, came home and showered then watched my recording of Dancing With the Stars. I fast forwarded through most of it. They tend to fill in the time with allot of nonsense.
Tomorrow I'm here by myself. No biggie. I've done lost of holidays alone and I don't mind my own company. I had several invites but passed. I'll roast my turkey breast along with some root veggies and eat my strawberry/rhubarb pie for dessert and be quite content!
I wish you all a happy Thanksgiving time wherever you may be..and if your are on the move, please, Lord, watch over my sisters.
Hugs!
