Good morning ladies
well coffee is dripping and the critters are having breakfast, thats important cause
they are relentless if I sit down at the computer before they get fed. Another hot
day in store for us, heat warnings out and my a/c is hanging in there :D
Have a great day and be safe.

GOOD MORNING ALL!

5 free days left, 10th mouse morning, 35 degrees F.!!

I can't believe you are still needing AC, Ava, and I am thinking of building a wood fire here to warm up my fingers so I can type!

Feels like winter in here this morning, not to mention outside. I have the kicker warming up to release mouse number 10, (I had thought it was just number 9 until I checked my calendar and counted the lines I put on it each day I let mice go) and Molly is out on the porch drooling to go with me! The sun is out brightly, no wind, so far anyway, as there was yesterday when I tried to paint and the stuff blew all over the place. So today will a day of doing the porch and front balconey for me.

Coffee tastes good, Ava, and feels good on my fingers and hands! I had to wait the obligatory half hour this morning as it's also Fosamax day! 8 ounces of cold seltzer to swallow the pill with just isn't gonna cut it!

Gotta go take mouse far away----will check back later. Happy Thursday to you all.

Good morning.
Coffee good and very much needed today. Thanks, Ava. Also good to hear your a/c is hanging in there.
Our heat and humidity had returned here in north AL. We have 3 or 4 days of thunderstorms forecast starting this afternoon, then another front that is to cool us down again. Certainly has not been typical weather for Aug.
Soos - I can't believe it is cold in NY already. Are your summers always so short?
I had a very long and stressful day with my sister yesterday. Still a number of small things going wrong (a Murphry's Law sort of thing) that she is not handling very well. We did manage to get a few things accomplished. Just wish there was some way to convince her not to worry too much about things beyond her control and that we will eventually get it all sorted out.
Gosh, I'm good at giving her advise - guess I should try taking some of that wisdom for myself  I've gotten so far behind on things I need to do, it is beginning to look hopeless in terms of catching up.
Sparkle -- Be sure to let us know how you did on fighting that speeding ticket.
Better go catch up on yesterdays posts.
Have a safe day!

Good Afternoon everyone,....

I am back home after working a long day at the tax office at school. I only have a few more envelopes to stuff with bills, then grab a sponge and seal them all. I'm sorting as I go for the post office. .... Local zip codes, out of towns, and Canadas. Most will go for single postage but i have about 30-40 that are a little heavier and will have to be done by hand at the meter,... using additional postage with the already pre-stamped envelopes. So it's all going well this year.

time to think about what to fix for supper,.... hope you have all had a great day!
