It's been busy lately..
Son, daughter-in-law & kids stayed here Thursday night while their current house was tented for termite treatment. I've had the kids before but never the whole family. It was interesting to see how they work their morning rituals - up, eat, get dressed, brush teeth, find jackets/sweaters & out the door. My son pretty much ran the show, while DIL started her work-day online. He got up about 45 min earlier than the kids to start his workday. Even with the parents here, I was exhausted when they finally left. Then I went to their house to tend to the kids while DS & DIL went out Saturday night. I don't know how they do it.
My son is my Financial Planner/Advisor. He started his own company about 6 years ago after working at a couple other firms. During Covid he posted videos frequently discussing things I was worried or concerned about. I just found a video he had on his company's website about himself. Turns out he got interested in investing in 4th grade from a homework assignment. I had no idea. I guess being a single mom working full-time with 2 kids at home & finishing my college degree at the same time, I was just happy that he was doing his homework. Sad that I didn't have time to learn about what his interests were - outside of playing on a premier soccer team. I think that's why I cherish the time I have now with these grandkids.
Barbie, bummer that the dove did his business on your fan. - yuck!
Lyn, always good seeing your posts - it is May grey already. I love it - too much sun drives me nuts. I also look forward to June gloom..

I don't need to turn on the heat, but I do close windows as needed.
Sue, While I have my kids here, I still hate asking them to take care of Sadie. I know they have their hands full with the kids & activities, so I just try not to plan any overnight trips. My ex will take care of her when I go to KS for a family reunion in August. Boarding her costs a small future.
OK, time to get busy again...
Later...
