Toot Tooting Tuesday...Morning to All ! It's not raining for starters..and for another good thing.. last night was the final episode of getting this DSL together..well sort a... Yes, the Verizon man was here ..but..you know there is always a butt..LOL in more ways than one.. well, to continue on with my story... the Verizon guy leaves all is well..till he pulls out the drive way and I'm sure makes the turn.. the dang thing goes bonkers..blinkin' and up and down and up and down..and off !!!! Yep, off !!! ...Of course you know to call back the Verizon guy.. is going to India first..yes, India..and then from there it was let's try this.. and try that.. Ok.. moral to this story...not sure yet.. cause this morning I have to call Verizon...again ! as now I have two accounts.. yes, you heard me ...two accounts...don't know why..but..(oh there's that butt again ) my saga will continue...and Yes, I have DSL for the moment..(tapping toes right now) I'll let you all know the rest of this story..tomorrow...cause I'm sure I'll find out by then..

News Flash... yeppers.. heard from Echo.. woooo hooo.. if you all check yesterday's Morning Coffee.. you'll read her Post.. I did get to chat with her a bit.. and she does miss us.. she's joining (better now ya hear ) Work Kampers ..so she can find another job for winter months.. she's looking in the Texas area..heads up all..anyway.. good to hear she's doing ok.. oh and she did tell me she lost 50 lbs.. yep.. she's getting slim and trim.. but I won't tell ya what else she said.. nope..cause I'm praying that will change.. Right Echo !!!! lip is buttoned closed on that one..

Lizzie.. I sure hope you had a good birthday.. and again those pictures were great aaaaah but now you are heading to the lower 48's... and heading over to New England area..goodness woman.. you is putting them miles on that rig of yours..You could have definitely been one of those Pioneer Women.. you and Carolinagal (Carol) What a fantastic trip you two have and still are on...

Bethers still up in Alaska..and I'm sure enjoying those Bears.. Ya know Beth we have Bears too .. in Pa.. maybe just maybe you'll come back to our area and work kamp that place in Pa.. then we'll get to meet up with ya again..but make sure Beth you don't get caught up in Alaska for their winter.. When does the path close...and snow fall... ???? Sorry I missed ya to chat.. was a little tied up with DSL...ugh.. !!!!!

Bluepinecones (Sarah) was good to hear that nothing has shown up on your test.. I do know that feeling of constantly checking that blood work.. but again.. we are all here..and praying that everything will be ok..as for the weight gain/loss .. gosh we are all apart of that game.. Yikes.. but good news is good news and just keep positive ..

RV Grammy (Lori and Ernie) I went back and checked those pictures out of Niagara Falls..You know it's true.. I lived in NYCity a good part of my life and never got to see Empire State or for that matter the Statue of Liberty.. till I moved to Pa..LOL oh I did get to see the Museums as a kid from school tours..and of course our Zoo and Central Pak...but that was it... LOL I did live in the Village as I went to NYU.. still amazes me what we don't get to see in our own area.. LOL Good pictures thou and now you'll be heading back to the campground in Gettysburg...

Birdbybird (Tina) has been camping by our campfire.. and I can't say I blame her.. Yes, it is a comforting feeling to watch those flames..kind of makes you feel cozy.. Tina.. you sure are having some major issues.. I know the Sistah's will be praying that all eases for you.. Never easy taking care of a loved one..and yes, lots of patience .. just attempting to get things in order... I do hope you can make the GTG in Pa..

Cedar.. you know when I first got my air card there was no plan.. other than take it for a year ..and I kind of was stuck as I only wanted it part time.....So Verizon finally got it's act together.. glad to hear that.. and glad to hear you are enjoying your camping..and your "new" baby !!!

NaSoosie..(Soos) Our fields are still wet.. so I know this I ain't ridin on the tractor LOL and I'm with you on the light in the sky show.. oh boy I get a little jumpie... not big on it either... it sure has been a wet season for us as well.. can't say we will be low on water this year ! Now tell me..you are still taking it easy to heal them ribs..

Uh oh there goes them blinkin lights.. Yikes.. I need to close out and get my coffee... for those I'm missing.. there's always tomorrow...Lord willin'

So Coffee pot is perking and Kettle is whistlin and I'm charging into the kitchen.. OJ and Cola in Frig.. and yep, I have plenty of goodies.. Biscotti and this morning I could use a little French Toast.. Stuffed would be nice..but not on my diet ...aaaaah shucks but you all can help yourselves...so do pull up a chair sit back and relax and let's hear what's happening in your world..

HAPPY SUNNY TUESDAY!!!

Nice to see you, Barbzee, and all the rest of youse happy campers!

No clouds anywhere yet this morning! HALLEEEELOOOYAHHH! It's a cool 52 degrees, but smells clean and DRY!!! I am so excited to think we will get some sun! And yesterday turned out to be pretty good, too!

I added water and chlorox to my fresh water tank yesterday, disconnected my hose water supply, and tried my pump for the first time since I winterized it last fall. PERFECT!! So now I will pump the chlorinated water through the system until I get ready to take to the road, and then will fill tank with clean water for the music festival.

I also bought me a trailer hitch-pin lock yesterday, which came with a padlock for my trailer tongue cup cotter pin as well. So I will be totally safe parked in any place now-----nobody can rip off either my ball or my trailer!

And I learned how to communicate better with my Tom Tom GPS----used it to go places yesterday! It just takes technique and reading the manual!

What I forgot when I went to pick up a few groceries, however, was kitty litter for the trailer, so need to get dressed fast and head to town before my daughter arrives today for a visit.

I got Twitch's 'walking jacket' yesterday! And it fits him! When I first put it on, he thought he was paralyzed and just flopped over on his side! But then he began walking around, albeit a bit tenderly, and when I took him outside on a leash, he loved eating some fresh grass for the first time since he was a kitten and free run out there. (He is a 21 or 22 year old cat now, for those who might not know.) I will take pictures of him outside when I get back from town today.

Cedar, after looking at how far your campground is from me, I will opt for Silver Lake this time around as it's only about 15 miles from me. I will be seeing you both next week anyway, and then here after that.....am anxious to see your trailer, but not that anxious for my first time out since I broke my ribs!

I'm off to the big city to get kitty litter! Have a fun day, everybody...gotta go read those messages from yesterday now.

Morning everyone. So glad to say it is a beautiful morning here in Hershey, PA. Yesterday was nice all day. Drove into Philadelphia and wandered around a bit. Almost too long. Knew we were cutting it close with the parking meter but didn't think so close. As we got there the meter maid was writing a ticket. 2 minutes late. but she very nicely stopped writing and recinded it. Could only do that as she hadn't finished it yet. Then she told us about a couple of places near by to go. The oldest street in Philly and Betsy Ross house. Also went to see Rocky statue, of course. Stopped at Valley Forge on way in. Forgot to leave air conditioner on so we left Alfie right away to go to dinner to an Italian restaurant here = Dalfnos - excellent. Thank you for the info. Then visited the evening away with our neighbors. Today I'd like to go back to Intercourse and buy some pickles and corn salsa.....Then maybe to York to visit the Harley plant. We'll see.

Good morning, all is well on my end of the world, stopped by work yesterday to turn
in my time sheet that I didn't turn in on Friday and low and behold there was something
they forgot to cover for a school that started yesterday and I picked up another week
of work, (maybe two out of it). So thats a good thing as I'm counting down the days
to a real paycheck and looking forward to catching up on the budget. Funny thing is
about this run I do now, its 2 special ed kids, one middle school and one high school,
had instructions from mom on the middle school to only say hi and bye (or similiar)
and not to hold any conversation with this kid, yikes, I'm gonna have a tough time
keeping my mouth shut cause I've always talked a little to the kids. Will go by what
mom wants cause there may be a very good reason for it so don't want to upset
the apple cart. They also put an aide on the bus with me although the two don't
seem like they need an aide, but hey, I don't know their history and don't ask.
Today is bid day, we pick our routes by seniority of course and this will give me
my timeblock for the school year. Hope all goes well, although I did find out they
changed my route from last year a tad and I'm not any too happy about it but not
a whole lot I can do about it.
Off to read up on Echo and a few other posts. Have a great day and be safe. Hope

Good Morning all for a very hot and HUMID PNW....that is the issue here with our heat wave is the humidity...so you can add about 5 degrees for the heat index.

This am in the shade it says it is 76 out...considering that is a normal mid afternoon high. The high temps are going higher then they thought and some areas are going to reach triple digits. The inside of out house..we managed to cool down to 78...so it will just continue to get hotter. I told DH last night...I wish we were camping...because we would have AC. I took the kids swimming at the resort where we have a camping membership as we can day use there also. I drove around after to see if there were any sites open....there were only the overflow area and in that are it like sardine camping. Oh well.

Well we have day 2 of our mini camp today..it is crafts in the AM, Lunch and then off to the beach.
