Sunday March 23

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Sunday March 23

Morning All, we are dealing with weird spring weather too. Temps up and down and very windy. Today is #2 daughter’s birthday. Bog celebration in our family yesterday. My oldest great granddaughter received a large scholarship at Alvernia University in Pennsylvania. She graduates high school in 2026. It’s a big step to her goal of Pediatric Nurse Practitioner . We are rooting for her. Update on air fryer black screen. The stick on dots did mot make good contact so difficult to use. So removed them and dd used a paint pen (white paint). To put dots on keys. Works perfectly but not sure how long paint will last. It’s ok because plenty of paint in the pen.lol

Be safe

Barbie, your new steps was a wise choice.

It's predicted to be between 85* - 90* degrees here where I live on Wednesday.

I am so not looking forward to hot weather. It is what it is, I guess.

Good morning,
I have just been working, working, working. Nothing fun or interesting.

I'm getting ready to retire July 1, so have been spending a lot of time getting all my ducks in a row for that. I have a lot of things to do to my house to get it ready to sell so focused on lining those out over the next 6-8 months. I'm pretty sure I know where I'm going to move but still have some number crunching to do.

Everyone have a great Sunday!

Thanks for the suggestion, Barbie. I am going to order that. I really only need leveling maybe 5-10% of the time, but it is certainly a pain when I have to do it.

Been filling in some holes on my schedule for May. Have decided when I will fly to Ohio to attend my grandson's high school graduation, and from where, which will be Salt Lake CIty. So, I need to add some stops for about ten days before then and a few afterwards. Salt Lake City will be cool still in mid-May, but will empty my refrigerator anyway.

Not much else happening other than sun and excellent temps today of aroubnd 73! Going for a walk to see if I can find any cactus in bloom. Found one yesterday, but the dry and chilly weather so far have slowed things down.

not a lot going on today actually drove the car... it's been a time I think I need to take it for a bit of a drive but not sure where... although it did start up today they charged it the other day cause we hadn't started it up while it was in time out...
picked up some potato chips the other day have given them a try don't think I like them they are the Lay's butter something I'm sure that others do ... I remember when they came out with the chocolate covered ones never tried them and always regretted it... so decided that I would try these now I regret it
a saying has been trying to go through my head but not sure I remember it correctly
March comes in like a lion goes out like a Lamb??? comes in like a lion goes out like a lion ???
again not sure how it goes something to that nature... it's been doing that
Anne sorry it's been getting that hot all ready my sister mentioned tonight that they are almost ready to turn on the A/C so not ready to do that....
have a good time helping your brother Barbie
that was neat Shirl surprised that they gave out a scholarship before she is even a senior but guess different schools do things differently very awesome achievement

good luck in getting what you need to do Laura
you all have a great night

I went to the hospice dinner today. Who ever talked to the lady that schedules our dinners didn't write it down so they didn't know we were coming. I bet the people in the kitchen were not happy because there were 27 of us. It took a while to get our food but there was a lot of visiting. Then I went to Walmart for dog food.

It is suppose to rain tonight so I thought I better mow since the back yard has dried up some. The radar shows the rain in North Louisiana so don't know if we will get any. I don't know who designed the way to raise and lower the mower deck but I don't like it. I don't have enough strength in my leg to move it.

Sheila, when I went to Ollie's I saw some Old Bay Seasoning flavored chips. I didn't buy any but would like to know what they taste like. A lot of the stuff in that store is things that people don't like and they are trying to get rid of it. I made the mistake of buying a box of 96 coffee k-cups one time. Took me a while to get rid of that.

Probably flying out May 18. Return May 23. Will stay one night before and after in SLC near airport I think. Need to verify dates with kids.
