Good morning. Kind of chilly and a little breezy out but better weather is coming our way especially for Monday and Tuesday YAY

Played Bunco yesterday and won $8. Had fun. This morning I need to drop Emma off at the groomers and then go get a few things at the store. Not sure what the rest of my day will look like.

Shelia have a good time at your grandsons. Beth cant believe it is time for you to head back to Benson already. Barbie those steps look great...good choice. Need to finish my grocery list as I am going inside the store today.......always a bit scary ha ha much cheaper if I just order online and pick it up. But the store I am going to doesnt have that option and is the cheapest store in town.

Good afternoon gals!

Warm and sunny with no wind. I have the windows and door open and a fan going.

I need to make a run to WM for a prescription and a few other items. Then work on stuff inside the trailer today. I am going to make a wood shelf to go over the back third of the stove top to put my air fryer on, so I can get it off the counter. I only use the front burner so the back of it is wasted space. I already bought the wood for it, just need to cut it and nail/glue it together and stain it. That will open up a good chunk of counter space next to the stove.

I sent pics to Beth of the steps, to post here for me, for those of you not on Facebook. I am very pleased with the results!

My protein drinks I have every morning, are getting more and more expensive now. I get a 12 pack and that costs about $34 now at WM. I need that extra protein since I am still not really eating well enough. But I am getting to the point that I can't afford that 2 or 3 times per month. Everything else is going up as well!

I better get moving here. Have a good day!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Brrr not spring here that was earlier in the week. Today it is 50 with a NW wind of 15. The sun is out for now. I just spent 40 minutes in my doctors office waiting for her to come in. Nurse had been in and checked BP (which wasn't too bad) I had just finished my book and someone came in and said we are so sorry but the doctor is out this afternoon and we just found out!!! Unreal...but as bad as the system is I shouldn't be surprised. I said something about it to the checkout person at the Coop where I stopped on my way home. She said call the corporate office they will call your doctor they have 30 people working there to take calls from patients!!! Think I will wait until I find a new doctor! She is the same one that never responded to my calls when DH was so bad from his fall.
Toby my 13 1/2 year old Miniature Poodle is really declining in health. The vet prescribed a pain pill once a day but yesterday he stood up most of the day and just stared into space he was able to go down a couple of stairs to go outside but . He seems better today but I don't want him to suffer but it is hard to tell if he is hurting or getting a bit of dementia. He is probably the smartest dog I've ever had. Emma is smart in a totally different way, she has to be trained but Toby understands most words and is amazing at reading my mind.
Karen you would freak if you went grocery shopping with me. I actually like so few things I don't look at prices and never go to the bigger stores because I buy mostly local organic. I just looked at my receipt from the Coop we shop at and my goat yogurt was $8.99, a quart of goat milk is I think $7.00. Cow milk does not like me! It's a good thing I don't eat much. DH goes to the bigger stores for basics and what he usually eats.

BJ, I'm so sorry to hear about Toby. It is so hard to watch our babies go down hill.

I went to my opthalmologists office today. This appt (as are most) was with a staff optometrist. She put a plug in my left eye today as it did what we were going for in the right. I now have 2 upcoming appts with the opthalmologist for minor surgery on both eyes that can be done in the office. It's a common follow-up procedure and hopefully will take care of everything I'm concerned about. Luckily he was able to fit both appts in before I head to Arizona.

The high today was 68 and it's 52 now. The weather man says it will be in the 30's tonight. Good thing I haven't taken the Ficus tree out yet. It's suppose to be in the 80's next week.

I made the cookies my son wanted today. I need a cement mixer to mix them because they are so dense. They have oats, pecans, cereal and Heath Bar Bits. I had to take some Aleve because my arm hurt so much. I didn't bake any, just used a ice cream scoop to make balls and froze them.

BJ, sorry Toby is going down. My son's dog is getting old too. I hate to think about them losing him. Three of my house cats are about 18. Stinky and Anne sleep most of the time. Possie still wants to spend most of the day outside.

Hi BJ.

Sorry to hear about Toby. It is really hard, I know. Sending good wishes your way, and my hope that he still might have many happy days there with you.
