Sunday March 9

Morning All, sun is shining and I love the time change. #1 daughter not so much. She doesn’t like getting up in the dark to go to work. She said come fall we should fall back a half an hour and that would be the permanent time. Works for me it’s called compromise.

Washington are you listening. lol

Stay safe

Morning Shirl. It is a wee bit chilly here this morning 38/56 with clouds. I too LOVE the time change this time of year. Not so much in the Fall.

Looking at recipes this morning and found a few I should like to try in the future. Making BBQ chicken thighs tonight for dinner in the oven as I want to also cook a pound of bacon, and some sheet roasted veggies. So while the oven is on might as well.

Time for some breakfast and get dressed to start my day

Incredibly beautiful and sunny day today! Considering that other than one day last week when I ran errands, I have been stuck inside because of wind and dust, it is really nice to be able to go outside. i used my hose to wash the dust off my windows and hit most of the side of the RV while I was at it. Then I used a rag to dry the window so I can actually see out clearly now. It is supposed to be just as nice tomorrow and the next day, so I am going to delay my walk on the nature trail, though i will probably walk around the campground tonight. Glad to have daylight savings time so that I can be out later, though i have to admit that getting up this morning was rough. Going to bed early tonight so I can adjust my hours.

Have two long forms to fill out tonight--cannot believe how many questions California is asking. At least I can do it electronically. And if I have time, I will also make some pasties. Have the pie dough done and waiting in the refrigerator and i have all the other ingredients.

Going to check the online eagles now!

Sunny and fairly warm today but!!! it is supposed to get up to 75 this week with sunshine. Right now the lines at the car wash places are continuous as we had some type of what I would call mud rain. Did you send it this way Judy!? I would like to try one of your pasties I've never had one.

Shirl I'm with your daughter we should do a half hour time change and then leave it alone. Karen I like bacon cooked in the oven but when I tried it there was too much grease that splattered all over plus now my oven is broken and they no loner make the parts for it. I have a great little Cuisinart toaster/oven that bakes really well for no more than I cook.

went to church it starts at 9 niece has been picking me up until I get to drive again... the packet is on it's way to sil in Idaho I doubt it will linger there  then I guess on to my youngest Brother if my brother who is taking care of things would just pick it up from our brother...then he could come to me I need to sign papers this is also on the house as well as the car... so hopefully within the next couple of weeks we will be all clear to proceed... I do wonder about licensing the car as my address is legally in SD will I be able to license it here in WY? the insurance in SD is so expensive if I really knew for sure how quickly things might go I might change my address this summer but not sure at all
niece came to pick me up for church and she had to pause a moment before she could get into the driveway had 5-6 deer they jumped into the yard... I saw 5 under the tree as I was leaving still one when we came home 2 hours later
dd came over to do laundry I grabbed a nap heard the door alarm when she came she asked me if I wanted to go on a drive when she switched the laundry over... so we drove up through the outer road of the park route 89 then on the road through the elk refuge to see the big horn sheep saw lots of sheep elk and swans!!! it was a nice drive before we left I made a salad that I saw a recipe for it was quite nice... cherry tomatoes, avocado, English cucumbers, onions, lemon juice and salt and pepper olive oil... I made a dish called chicken supreme unfortunately I didn't watch it or cooked it at too hot a temp or ...????? as it separated the sauce that is...
tasted good but no yummy mushroom sauce :( you cooked diced up bacon take it out of the pan sear the chicken breast take out of pan add olive oil and put the mushrooms which have been cut in half cut side down in the pan when shrunken and brown had sliced garlic had broth and cream and chicken back in sauce cook 10-15 or until the chicken is cooked through... serve with mashed potatoes or rice or noodles... however the creamy sauce wasn't creamy just disappointed... I am pretty sure it was cooker error
so that was my day still need to do scriptures think it will be shortened ...
you know I like the thought of 1/2 hour would be work...
where are you at Judy?
I like watching the reels on FP some look really good others well they make you really wonder
told dd about one and she said mom I won't be your guinea pig for that one... I actually think I mentioned it last night although I don't know for sure
I'm surprised BJ that the bacon splattered in oven I've never had it splatter in fact usually I don't even have to wash the pan use parchment paper on the pan and it seems to contain the grease...
you all have a great day

Considering that I spent four out of five days hunkered down inside last week, I would gladly have sent you some our dust, BJ. And the tiny bit of rain we had did what you described—turned the dust on the outside of my rv into mud that dried quickly. Hosed a lot of it off on the one side today. But just before I went for walk I opened my passenger door to get y sweatshirt and cloud of dust came out from the door jam. Kicked offf my coughing.

Craziest camping weather in 12 years!!!
