Good Afternoon, It is still cold and going to get worse, down in single digits for a few nights. We need it to be above 32 so some of the ice will melt until then it is sort of moment to moment as to the power going out from falling branches/trees. Ours went out again last night right at dark just as we were about to have dinner. I had made a big pot of beef stew but there was nothing romantic about eating by candle and flashlight!! It is supposed to warm up by Friday but snow is predicted. I was so stressed last night I forgot to give Pippa her dinner. The big dogs eat in the family room and Pippa eats in the living room. I finally noticed her bowl hadn't been put down so I made her a new dinner and I had to put her in my lap and feed her by hand. Just as I had the big duvet out and getting ready for bed the power came back on. DH went out for the first time today and said not too bad but not many out. At least we can get out as I had the driveway and sidewalk treated before the storm hit plus they came back and cleared it again after so driveway is good. It is so hard to find good help but this young man has been terrific he's coming back to pick up all the downed limbs. Shirl I wish we had been as prepared as you are! Irmi I hope you have a good time in spite of the weather. Beth I hope you feel better by the time your friend arrives, I'm allergic to many antibiotics. Sharon it is frustrating to loose a post! Martha that was a big temperature drop I hope it warms up, Sheila hoping the funeral goes as planned, I can just see your nephew arriving in shorts! Did he regret his decision!? Karen I hope your weather doesn't get too cold. Take care everyone.
