I've already had dinner and nothing to read! I had errands including an eye appt today. I wasn't expecting dilation but it happened to do a couple tests. I hate driving after that. I stopped for a Walmart pickup order and came home and snacked all afternoon. Time to find something silly/ stupid to watch on TV.

Not much going on today. I decided to order a load of dirt to fix the area of the hill that had washed out under the old deck. I had it dumped in the pasture so the cows have to come see what i'm doing. Cows are a nosy bunch. The wheels keep falling off the cart I'm trying to use so think I'll go see what Tractor Supply has tomorrow.

Yesterday was beautiful and sunny, with no wind at all. Today was cold, sunny, but extremely windy to the point where it was hard to go for a walk. I did go out to the beach briefly to watch a couple fly a fancy kite plane, and then took a brief walk, but that was only after bundling up in several layers. Brrr. Now have both little electric heaters and the rear furnace going, and it is nice and warm in here. I also got a quilted throw out to put on top of my down comforter. I really like small throws on my bed because they are easy to toss on and then toss off when you are finally warm enough. In the morning, I just fold it up and put it where the other pillow would be.

Also today, I spent a considerable time today trying to get the external DVD player working that I bought when I bought this computer four years ago. I had a terrible time trying to find and download the right drivers, and finally ended up chatting with a customer service guy who said if all I wanted to do was play videos and did not want to do a bunch of editing or video production, all I had to do was download a free player!! (Like I would really want to do a bunch of video editing and production in my spare time!!! ) So I downloaded a player, and it works fine on a commercial DVD, so tomorrow will tackle making sure my old home movies work. Wish they told you the easy stuff before you spend a couple of frustrating hours trying to download things like drivers you don't need. (Like it told me to click the red button when there was no red button, etc.)

Tomorrow is also going to be sunny, so I will go into town to dump my tanks, and then it looks like rain for the next several days. This place has a huge, glorious beach, by the way, but hard to enjoy it when it is so cold and windy.

sounds like we are all late coming to post me??? I'm always late but was surprised at how late others were...
the aide came today so I had to set mom's hair she is coming again on Monday I can just hear mom say but I just had a shower... we quite even trying to get her to have one on Monday... guess just getting into the shower (climbing over the side of the tower ) hurts so why push it... she was asleep before she left and got up for supper and back to sleep still is it's one of those sleepy days.... has them occasionally
pretty much didn't accomplish anything should have but just didn't although I did finish my rose for the hat thinking about making a couple more so she can trade them out... just need to open a bin and find some other colors
opted for pizza for supper think tomorrow it will chicken tortalina soup spell check didn't recognize the pasta name... guess I'd better go to the store tomorrow ... need some milk at the very least... along with other stuff and stuff for the like the pasta stuff... have a small amount in freezer but not enough ...
it was one of those days that a nap won out ...
