GOOD MORNING BARBZEE AND ALL!!

It's good to see you back at the helm, Zee! Coffee tastes good!

At 47 degrees, it's not exactly what one would call 'warm' today, but it's NOT raining! In fact, the sky is relatively clear, and the sun should be up enough to show some warming rays before too long. I turned on my water heater to get some hot water for dishes after coffee. Then I need to add bleach (diluted) to my fresh water tank and make sure the pump works after my winter storage procedures. I am trying to remember, if I use that tank and the pump, is there anything I need to do with the shore water supply to make sure the pump doesn't pump all the water out the shore connection hole? I COULD refer to the manual I got with this rig, but it's 'somewhere' in all my 'important' stuff in the cabinet! I don't seem to remember doing anything last year when I filled up for the Bluegrass Festival.

Let's see...what shall I do today other than the tanks? If the sun does come out, I will need to mow at least this camping area once again. I will really try to not twist too much, as I haven't needed to take any Ibuprofen to recline at night for two days now! It was nice yesterday to be able to notice a slight improvement. Molly and I will walk again, too. Rain is forecast for this afternoon, but morning should be ok, I hope. When the rains come, I think I will head to Plattsburgh and the RV dealer to get a lock for my ball hitch so I don't have to take it off each time I unhitch. It is very heavy, and a pain to put on and take off with broken ribs! I also need to return the harness thing I got for Twitch that won't even fit his front paw, let alone his body!

Bunnies are back grazing on clover, and I saw a deer earlier when I went inside to replenish Twitch's food bowls. I noticed a dead bunny in the road not far from here yesterday, however, when I went to the post office. I imagine some critter of the night probably has the carcass already eaten up by this morning. Bunnies and mice and voles are on the bottom of the food chain here.

Cedar, I am so happy you have had at least a couple of great camping days this week! Thank you, Liz, for a great trip around Seward this morning! Will now go to check out Beth's blog for her version of this latest episode!

Coffee is hot and strong! Hope we hear from all of you before the day is out. Have a fun time out there.

Happy travels!

Good Morning and here it is another wonderful sunny day. I really have no idea when it may have last rained here. I know the area is way drier then I recall in summer past.

Kodie has physical therapy and horseback riding today. Then I think that is it for appts for the week here. Not sure if older DD has dance on Wed or not. Her dance teacher broke her arm just below her shoulder about a month or so ago. Since we were gone on vacation and such, I have no idea if classes have actually resumed since she was on a no driving restriction for a few weeks.

What are some things that happened on the home front...oldest DS has moved back home. He is in the downstairs craft/catchall area..which will now postpone me getting the remainder of the upstairs carpet pulled up. My plan was when I returned to pack up as much of the dining room and living room and stack it all up down there and then clear out the rest of the carpet. Then we were going to start painting the sub floor. So who knows when that will actually happen now. If I could trust the weather to not have rain...I could move he stuff outside on the deck. Who knows maybe I will do that.

Pictures will be coming soon. It took me about 2 hours to get them sorted last night and in folders by where we were at. I now need to sort go and rename them all and get rid of the ones that are not as great as others. I figure by the end of the week. I will be updating my blog, facebook and getting them into photobucket to share a few here.

Nasoosie...as to the water tank...what I have done is just shut off the shore water. I know with ours the water pump only runs the fresh water tank. We never have it on for shore water.

Good morning from blustery Seward, AK. Beth is up and gone on toward Valdez. We may rethink the hike to Exit Glacier, then will head for Walmart in Anchorage to stock up before proceeding. It'll be our last Walmart stop before leaving AK and we need several things. We'll also head toward Valdez with a stop first at the Wrangall Elias Nat. Park Visitor's Center in Copper Center to plan what we want to do in that NP. It is the largest NP in Alaska and was my favorite on my trip last year. The road to Valdez is beautiful, or will be if this frontal system moves through before we get there.

Hope everyone has a great day!
