Wed almost Afternoon

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Wed almost Afternoon

Morning all!

What a change in temperature. I like the cooler weather but had to laugh that now the humidity is giving a feels like temp lower than the actual temp. Still in a sundress but with a sweatshirt this morning.

Three loads of wash going so that'll be done for the week. I'll vacuum, etc in my messy place.

Yea, it's raining off and on. Every little bit helps. The temperature dropped from 95 to 85. We have been having temperatures in the upper 90's instead of the 100's. Fall might actually be coming. The weather people are watching a powerful tropical storm coming across the Atlantic. They think it will curve and go North before it gets to the US. I hope so.

I have the meetup meal at the mexican restaurant tonight. I want to go to Lowe's if I can get on the road early enough. One of these days I'm going to get the saw I want.

My camping group will be at the campground with the lazy river that's near here. I didn't sign up this year. The campground is a parking lot with hookup. Last year my air conditioner couldn't keep up with the heat. An hour in the lazy river was enough for me.

Good afternoon. It was a chilly morning 47 but will warm up to 80. Smoke is all gone, sun is out a few clouds, my kinda day. Not too much on my agenda for this afternoon. Took something back to Costco, stopped for a few groceries. Came home had lunch and now ready to see what I can find on the tv. I like to watch something light in the afternoons where I dont have to concentrate too much ha ha I might check out Joe Pickett I think it is called, we shall see. I dont want something with umpteen seasons, I get bored.

I'm beat, but at least the temperature is going down. Was upper 80s yesterday and supposed to be 78 tomorrow and 72 on Friday. I had three medical appointments today--first was ophthalmologist and I had been worried about small fireworks displays in my eyes on some days, plus occasionally a big black blob. She said the fireworks were due to the gel or vitreous humor part of my eye pulling away from the retina, which is normal with age. Black blob is a floater, probably due to this pulling away. Vision is excellent and no obvious macular degeneration or detached retina, so I am happy about that.

Then got poked for blood test for my annual physical on Friday, and finally physical therapy. My motorhome was 96 degrees inside when I was done, so opened up some windows and turned on generator and rig AC, as well as engine AC. Raced home and got plugged in, so it is now cooling off. Now going to watch Bargain Block, one of my favorite new shows.

Just wondering how things have dried up in Las Vegas, Indio, and Florida. Updates???

How quickly things can change. It could be upper 40's when I get up in the morning so I pulled out my electric heater if I need/want it to take off the chill when I get up. It'll be a beautiful afternoon in the mid 70's. I have a small Walmart order to pickup and will stop in Jersey Mike's to get my free sub. I learned they make (at least the hot subs I was looking at on the menu) also as bowls with no bread, so that's what I'm planning on ordering. Hope I like it.

I normally am a very sound sleeper... rarely move once I turn off the light last night for some reason was not normal I couldn't get comfy tossed and turned never felt like I went into a deep sleep... if I hadn't had an appointment I would have taken a nap :? but the pedi was more important... feet look so much better choose the wrong color though a bit lighter than I normally like and yes I was the one that choose it but actually thought it was a darker color than it was although not as dark as I normally get... went to Target got a couple of things wanted to get either a small suitcase or duffel bag ... but guess I'm cheap really didn't want to spend that much but guess it wasn't that bad... oh well I have a few days that I can decide if I want to go back then I went and got a different hook.... I think my problem with the scarf was the size of the hook as I looked at the video again it said a 10mm I looked at the one I used and it was think 6.5 guess that would make a difference  so will go and look at video and start all over again... I really started to think that she had perhaps said the number of stitches to chain.... guess when I do that chain row and measure it out will have a better idea but then everyone crochet's differently some tighter and some looser same with knitting... I tend to be tighter... will have to remember that and if it's not as long as it should be I will add some or just go with one a bit smaller... just not 27 inches smaller...
the way mom's house is the street if one didn't turn to the left they would drive up into the driveway about 8:30 saw lights coming they didn't turn really felt like they came up further thought niece got off early and she going to want the laundry and it's not fully gathered
but she never came in often she would talk on the phone for a few minutes but it's now 10:40 and still not come in... so guess I misheard or saw
it was a beautiful day today as well ... cooling off a bit had blue skies and high clouds was looking at the mountains around and so many of them still have some green on them really unusual for us...
actually saw a show on Hallmark Movies and Mysteries that I'd not seen or don't remember usually you can watch for a few and remember who is killed and by whom...
maybe tomorrow I will get half way on the fringe on the Swedish Weave...
you all have a great day
