Tuesday is Right with us...Morning to all... Good to see a few that have been kind of missing drop by to say "Hey".. as we know with Summer time lots are busy on the road or doing things in the house they didn't get chance too..very, very understandable..as for me.. well.. my picture kind of tells its own story..LOL yeah, I had a dream last night I was playing "Jacks" do you all remember them..????? I loved that game.. I was the Block Champion..course today .. first of all I couldn't sit like that on the ground.. Secondly.. don't think I could even have the coordination..to grab and swoop at the same time..aaaaaaaah but it was a good dream...So this morning I thought how apropo I did this picture..Brings back good memories..Speaking of....

Lenora asks about Clubs in her area.. and yep, you all did pretty good.. Escapees, RVW, Good Sam and RV America.. I did one of those RVAmerica groups.. and being my hubby didn't come with me.. and I was with another girlfriend.. it wasn't a warm welcome.. it was kind of the women didn't want to be around us nor did they want their hubbies..geeez.. I drove miles too.. I mean from Pa to Maine....I have to tell you I did speak my peace..(did you think I wouldn't) and never again.. So, I'm just for the GTG with the Sistah's... but I do have friends that belong to the RVW and like it.. very much.. it's really kind of your call once you get your rig and get out there.. Still say .. "try and hook up with SeeyaGal (Jenny and Dan) they are in WA now..and maybe as Carold (Carol and Bob) are heading up you can get a GTG..

Cedar.... we are all filled with excitement on your "New Arrival" I knew something was up... yeah the crystal ball was glowing LOL I even went and checked a few out on the net.. Neat and cozy...and Yes.. your own bathroom.. Wooo hooo...now you get the dump station Yeee Haw !!!!!!

Avalen (Ava) glad the car is now running good ! Great chatting with you too.. Now you are ready to do your chores...early in the morning before the heat hits... that's my favorite time to grocery shop too.. not many people in the stores and I can zoom through and get out before the rush !!

I see the Campfire is still burning.. yep.. SunshineCruiser (Carolyn) NaSoosie (Soos) and Snowball (Sheila) are enjoying it.. yep ladies I sneaked in and grabbed a cold one !!!

Bluepinecones (Sarah) All of us here and those that haven't had the chance to read your column, which will now.. are keeping you in our prayers.. Lots of us have had those shockers ..some still are.. you are not alone dear Sister..no way..Keep us posted..and keep positive ..no matter what..

Asirimarco (Carol and Bill) I had to go back and look again.. aaaaah I see that Dish on your house LOL Oh you mentioned you have now Data Storm.. did you have that installed on your Rig.. can't wait to hear all about it.. as I had thought I might do that too.. Give us the details Carol.. you know us nosy bunch.. oooh we get to follow you too on the map hahahaha..

Carold...(Carol and Bob) is on the Oregon coast.. yep another follow the Blog.. LOL it's getting so on my desk top I have all these blogs..omg.. My eyes are crossing.. ..Maybe you can hook up with Lenora too.. she's in WA.. be a good GTG..

NaSoosie (Soos) is on the mend again.. from what I read..she's like a beaver.. always chopping or cutting something.. Soos some times we gotta rest dem bones !!! but ah love them pictures from your home too...great area..

Mitch (Michelle.) you mean you didn't check out my pitcher ....LOL I thought for sure you'd pop in or perhaps.. Vickie...and I'd be hearing somethin'....just a lot of lookers..hey .. hahahaha..

Outandabout (Linda) .. Yep, them dog nails are a thingy.. mine look at me and run.. but I use a dremmel..they feel the buzzing.. but with that you can burn them if you're not careful..ask how I know..LOL...but I have toe nail and ears day.. LOL

Jemek (Kristy) she's still in Idaho.. waiting on parts.. and yep having a good GTG with her family...which is always a good thing.. and yes, Kristy you is one busy busy lady... God Bless

Ok it's that time and I'm hungry and thirsty.. so it's Coffee perking.. Kettle Whistling..and oh that Oj and Cola are ready.. I still have some Apple Strudel...Strawberry and Rhubarb Cobbler and oh Cherry and Cheese Danish..aaaaaaah and then there is Bagels and Creamcheese..Cinnamon Toast..omg.. it's a buffet of goodies.. ouch.. biscotti always...dunk to your hearts content....

Good Morning Zeee and all our sisters!

Whooooeeeee.... yep I'm keyed up today. I am going to be posting pics later,... won't be back home with her until late afternoon. Right now the Chalet is looking pretty forlorn, all empty and ready to be towed off to trade. But she's served me well. It's just time for more creature comforts!

Partly cloudy here, what else is new? At least I won't be towing a new camper home in a blizzard like I did the Chalet back in March of '04. Well, with the strange weather here in the northeast this year, ... I sure hope not!

Morning All! Today will be a busy day. Tomorrow morning we will finally be leaving. Going to Hershey, PA with stops first in Colombus, OH and Washington (?), PA. It will be good to get on the road. Yes we had DataStorm put on the motorhome. Will let you know how it works. Right now the trees are blocking any signal so will have to wait until we park tomorrow to try??? to get everything working - TV and Internet.
Our friend that stayed in the house last winter is going to be staying here now too. She'll take care of all of Bill's plants and feed the fish.
Today is last minute shopping, setting up the laptop with updates, doing laundry and gathering up all the stuff to go. Mostly the Alfa is loaded, just food and personal stuff to load. I always forget something - even with my lists. Well that is what WalMart is for I guess.

Good Morning Zeee, Cedar, Carol and the rest of ya Sistah's!
I'm up and about early this morning to hitch up the TH. Takin her over to a little town called Grosse Tete to http://www.accessvans.com for them to look at and measure so they can tell us what kind of wheelchair lift they can install at the door. The ATV winch in the back of the garage area serves it's purpose in a pinch, but just isn't stable/safe enough to continue to use forever. He really needs an actual lift that he feels safe and secure on. So that's where we're headed today, I have no idea what it's gonna cost, I'm thinking somewhere in the ball park of $5,000. to $10,000. but I'm just not sure. Why is it when something is considered medical equipment they jack the price up so much, his power wheelchair cost $16,000. that's ridiculous.

Can't wait to see Cedar's pics later this evening!!

GOOD MORNING, AS A FIGURE OF SPEECH!

I say that because it's grey, overcast, cold, damp, and just plain nasty out there. What on earth has happened to July and summer and sunshine and warmth??? Temperature is in the upper 40s with a bunch of rain forecast for this afternoon again. After I mowed yesterday, the skies opened up and we got tons more rain. It looks as if it rained all night, as well, but I don't know as Molly and I slept here in the house for the first time in over a month. It was too wet and too cold to walk to the trailer last night.

Cedar will be having an exciting day picking up her new trailer today! I wish I could be there to watch that process! She will probably get her first chance to drive it home in the rain. Be sure to show us pics, as soon as you can, Cedar!

Blueberry flavored coffee for me this morning, just for a change, with French Vanilla creamer and a dollop of fat-free whipped cream on top! Not a bad way to start a dreary day. And I might have to try some of Zee's goodies, even!

Pain and rain---they even rhyme. And I am getting VERY tired of both of them. Perhaps it was the sofa I slept on last night that made my ribs really sore this morning, but I have given in and have taken some Ibuprofen so I can move. I need a plan that is not too strenuous for this rainy day. Like sitting semi-reclined in my lounger, watching something on the boob tube. What a way to spend a summer vacation day! ACK! If it actually helps my ribs heal, I may have to do just that. Or perhaps head upstairs and clean out a closet up there. I'll save the dump trips for later on when I can carry all the stuff designated to go there.

I hope the rest of you are doing something fun, wherever you might be. Vickie has her day prety well planned out----pay, pay, pay!

Guess I'll read my overnight messages and email, pay a few bills, go to the post office later to get some more bills, and hit the recliner. What a day-----hope I can handle it all!

Little Winnie and I are sharing scrambled eggs and toast. Everyone had a walk this morning as it is lovely and cool. We've had so many days of high heat and humidity it's a pleasure to be able to go outside. Soos, I sympathize with your rain but I'd take rain and cool any day over not being able to breathe outside. I stay inside a lot during the summer.
I LOVED my vacation in Wisconsin and Michigan because of the nice weather. We did the SS Badger ferry over to Michigan and all but the last 45 minutes was ok, not some thing I would do again thought! We mostly played bingo and they had a Badger Idol contest. Hummm, yes I entered and sang 'Does Your Chewing Gum Loose It's Flavor on the Bedpost Overnight", but alas I didn't win! My DH would have jumped ship in embarrassment had he been along. We all had great fun and laughed from morning till night.
This past weekend I went to my high school class reunion. Wow, wonder how all my class mates got so old! Check out the joke section for a relevant post to this subject on age!
I've seen a couple of Roadtreks and Pleasure Ways lately in a price range I think I could manage but DH is so against it I hesitate, but one day I'll go drive one and if I love it will just buy it anyway!

Morning everyone. Been up and checking the radar cause they say storms are coming. But after looking, it looks like we are on the northern edge of the weather. However, it is cloudy and windy and we'll probably get some rain from it. We are trying to enjoy the last few days here in Iowa with son and family. Went fishing on the other side of town last night. DS and DIL both caught a nice sized catfish, but gave them to others who were fishing there.

Zee, I remember jacks...sister and I used to us a golf ball and play. I was pretty good at it but better at marbles. Was the marble champ of Sinabe Street! We lived in Okinawa at the time! I was such a tomboy! LOL

Rede...I remember that song! My sister and I used to sing it!

Carol, looks like I'm about a day behind you as we leave here on Thursday morning. Of course, if ex had his way we would leave tomorrow...and if he mentions it one more time I"m going to give him the keys to my jeep and tell him to GO!

Cedar, congrats on the new HOW! (Home on Wheels). Even if you only use it for long weekends and vacations!

Just sitting here...today. Yesterday I washed the trailer...it was pretty dirty. It was covered in that red Arizona Dirt..that we had all over the truck after driving out in the AZ desert after a thunderstorm. The wheel wells in the truck had 12/-1 in of the stuff caked in there. When we hit a thunderstorm coming into Idaho...it cleaned out the wheels..but transferred most of it to the trailer. It was nice being able to just wash it up here at my brothers.

I think we will go as far as Yakima, and stay at the RV park at the casino. My mom is a casino kind of person, she really enjoys going and seems to be on a winning streak.

Good afternoon all. Soos, your sunshine and heat are stalled the the mid west. We have all of it and it can't get out, but we are not holding it back. We would gladly let it out but alas it has a mind of its own. We have had triple digit temps for the better part of a week. The house AC can't keep up with the heat, so the only sensible thing to do is fire up the AC in the camper and enjoy it there. If you can figure a way to lure the heat, you are welcome to it. I'm done.

Boy do I remember playing jacks and loving it. We use to play all summer long at camp and have contests too. I was actually quite good. We use to play on the porch of the cabin on a rectangle of vinyl flooring. We had such fun.

Going to get out of the heat (in the house) and get into the camper where it is cool. Take care all and hope everyone's weather changes for the better. Linda
