Friday July 7

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Friday July 7

Morning All, humidity 93%/ dew point 78%. Anxiously waiting for dehumidifier. I have to watch a video to change the clock in the car twice a year. I think the car maker had a good laugh as they designed the clock since Subarus aren’t usually bought by young people. #2 daughter told her techy daughter she would babysit unless she found out she was being watched on the toilet. Lol Enjoyed meat loaf and squash casserole last night so left over today. Just normal chores today. Be safe

Good morning, this moving process is going slowly but I guess mostly because it's hot and I do loads in the morning. Also I move a little slower as a month ago I took a fall off the ladder and did some damage to my pelvis as I landed right on my backside. Was pretty crippled up for a couple weeks and couldn't lift or move anything. Starting to heal now but I must say it was quite scary!
The fifthwheel is almost empty now and then I will get started on dismantling my outside space. Ordering a bed later today, I will be ready to sleep in the new place very soon. Got the tags on the motorhome yesterday but I will need help to get it jumpstarted. It goes in nearby storage yard. I must admit I took a breather from moving yesterday. It was a good decision as it gave me a chance to regroup and plan the next phase of what to do with what.
That's it for now, I could go on but there's just too much on my mind.

Hi ladies~~~

Ouch Alice! Painful I'm sure. Dad fractured his pelvis. Wish I could remember all the PT exercises for you. Some were using a kitchen counter, side stepping, backward leg raises, etc., and a few from a chair. Keep as mobile as you can and keep healing. Do you have a move date? Will you still be in Scottsdale?

Not a lot new here. I'm at my last Washington stop just north of Spokane. Not much of anything to see around here. Which is a good thing. I need to look at routes and figure out where I'm heading for the fall and winter. I do know I'll be spending 3 months in Apache Junction next winter. A friends from school will be in Mesa and they'll be looking for a place to buy, so I may tag along with them a bit, plus their daughter is getting married in February, so there's that. I know I'll spend time going to visit the Salt River wild horses again, May volunteer some, but not sure about that yet either.

Have a great day ladies. Stay cool.
Cheryl

Oh today is a great day was 53 and cloudy when I got up dang chilly. I had put on my shorts and sleveless blouse........whoa, I changed into my jeans and light sweatshirt LOL just changed into short sleeved top and left my jeans on for now. We are looking for a high of 82 today. I am all over the weather today, making me smile. I need to go out and install my motion light for the carport. I have to wait until Friday for my camera mounts to come. And I need to send these back that dont work. Will also be installing the Blink camera that Laura bought and doesnt use so she gave it to me. So this is kind of a day of rest LOL I need to tidy up all the little messes I have made looking for screws, recipes, instructions etc etc

Alice so sorry to hear you took a tumble. I realize we dont bounce like we used to but dang that sounds painful. Glad you are getting moved. Noone to help you there???? And you are still working silly girl ha ha when will you retire...again??
Cheryl volunteering sounds kind of fun in my mind....but then I remember they would want me to show up............nah. LOL So off to make a caramel mocha and a bite of lunch.

I don't watch a lot of tv in the day time even though it's on usually sometimes it never gets turned on until I do after supper but today it was on and while waiting for mom to get dressed after her shower so I could put rollers in her hair it was on one of the ads made me think of you Karen it was for motion detector lights that are solar powered BuyBionic360.com according to the ad it has a super bright light only when turned on with the slightest motion... they always make them sound so desirable one I really want to get though is these angel mirrors suppose to lessen the blind spot the blind spot on mom's car is really bad... but will I ever order it probably not but doesn't stop me from thinking it looks really good...
my niece came and picked up the laundry today so I took the cover off her chair so it could be washed.. of course there was a lot of stuff under it so ended up vacuuming it wasn't on my to do list but it did need to be done... so since vacuuming was on the list I did that in the living room hall and my room while mom was finishing breakfast she can take the longest I can just picture her as a kid and her mom telling her she can't leave the table till she has eaten it all  read scriptures and wasted too much time laying on bed read a couple chapters in my book and put a few rows on the scarf I'm making my great gs think it will be ok... I took it apart as I decided it was too wide... it was wider than the one I made for his sister and she is older than he is... only did one row and apart on my crocheted afghan fell asleep while coloring so lessen my time on the computer if I finished it... had the nephew and family over for supper made taco's actually made salsa been awhile so I almost forgot what to do  he tried to mow the yard but it rained enough that he couldn't finish due to rain ... hopefully it rained enough to water the plants.... but better really drench them tomorrow
Ava are you moving to Apache Junction??? knew you were moving but didn't know where ... are you selling the 5th wheel? and when do you plan on retiring?
finally made an appointment for mom for her hair wanted to do it on a Sat so my dd would be free to do something with us but they are closed on Saturday's so made it for Friday then I wanted to make an appointment for a pedi so I could kill some of those two hours having a pedi but the place I called didn't have a nail person in the afternoon guess I will have to look into other places I just knew the name of it...
depending upon what the weather looks like tomorrow may take a drive...
we will see
you all have a great day

Oh, Alice, that fall and break sounds terrible. I'm glad you're on the mend.I sure hope the new place ends up being exactly right for you.

I'm exhausted. Russ already sleeping. I just finished doing my word games for today. After waking Ty this morning I did a couple chores and it was time to pick up Ginger and head to Tucson. Lunch was great and it was fun seeing two friends from my childhood. We were there about 3 hours (maybe more) chatting away. I took Ginger home then she drove to my place a little later to pick up a few things and we visited more. I had no plan to eat more but had defrosted a pork chop and felt it needed to be cooked today, so are it also lol. Then ice cream for dessert. Yes, I ate enough today.

Off to bed. Night all.
