Took granddaughters to Columbus Zoo today and about killed myself with all the walking with the heat and humidity! And then when we left, I had to walk to the far end of the parking lot to get my motorhome!!! No shuttles to take you there. Told son he might have to carry me out of the RV when I dropped the girls off tomorrow! I am taking them to their condo in Sandusky. It is on a canal, so they have a boat and a bunch of other toys to use on the larger bay where it is not so rough as Lake Erie. They regularly boat right past Cedar Pointe where they can watch the roller coasters and such. I'll also do a couple of loads of clothing and maybe some towels because they have a washer and dryer in their condo.

FYI, next time I go to Columbus Zoo, it will be on a cooler day and I will rent a power chair! I turned 80 a couple of weeks ago and just cannot walk those distances in the heat any more. But girls enjoyed themselves. I was disappointed in the food, however, especially the small $8 cups of Dipping Dots and the $4 bottles of water!!!

went to the store bought a lot and didn't even get any meat... it adds up quickly
usually I check out the discounted area in the meat department but didn't do that as I have got to use up the meat in the freezer before adding to it...
I compared the new hat to the first hat and even though it's not finished it looks so much smaller not sure what to do I hate to finish it only to find it too small but if it is I guess we can donate it when we put Reny's hat on him he wore the same size in that pattern not sure what Ive done to make it smaller same hook same type of yarn guess I will finish it and see what happens... thanks for the input  it has 22 rounds and I am on 14th round I think.. not far to go...
going to make Moroccan Chicken tomorrow it's super yummy been awhile since I have made it
it's hard to reorganize things when you lack the space to put stuff it always seems like a person doesn't accomplish anything until you are close to being done..
you all have a great day

Sue- our local NBC affiliate interviewed pulmonary specialist here on what to do if there is smoke from wildfires. He said the only mask that truly protects is n95, well fitted and tight. He said of you smell smoke at all with mask, your lungs are being harmed! He also suggested running a HEPA filter as Karen mentioned. I have n95's and a HEPA ready to go.
I've had a headache all day, likely neck related. Still waiting for oxygen for night because they said Medicare requires a new sleep study, but neither I nor Dr office can reach the sleep center except to leave message!
101 here Thursday, hotter over next 3-4 days.
