Let's start our day with a good morning here.

It’s almost 3 o’clock my time and nobody is on here :o Guess you must all be napping, buried in snow, washed away with the rains, or whatever.

I just came back in from being out doing a little snowblowing. We haven’t had that much and actually my driveway didn’t really even need it but I did the neighbors that I haven’t done the last couple times. They probably only had about 3 inches in the drive, but the county has gone through and scraped the road a couple of times, so that was starting to pile up at the end. And I just kind of made a patch over mine while I was out there. It’s extremely windy here. And that wind is cold. My weather station says it is 26° with a real feel of 16. But while I was outside I was perfectly toasty because my winter work coat that I wear when I snowblow, is windproof and insulated to at least 45 below. Plus I also have a pair of ski bibs and insulated boots on. I wear similar when I walk the dogs are there I need to use in snow pants instead of my ski bibs. With my fleece jackets under the coat, I could stay out there all day. One gets warm when you were walking anyway. I learned many years ago that windproof is the key to staying warm in cold weather as is waterproof or water repellent depending. So that job is done till who knows. We do have some snow coming in but we are supposed to see less than an inch. I guess the southern part of the state got dumped on pretty good yesterday.Sheila I know what you mean about those Watches. Sometimes they pan, out sometimes they don’t.

Beth, good luck on whatever you decide you’re going to take for next summer. Would be nice if you could get a job up in Michigan or Wisconsin or someplace, so you could visit your sister and just enjoy some of your old haunts. Enjoy being around some green and water.

I finished my last appointment for the week so I’m glad they’re done. Was mammo today. Wasn’t bad. Yesterday I took Riley to the vet for her Titer test and also a booster. Piper elected to stay home. So when we came home about an hour later, she met me at the door like she usually does but because Miley had stayed outside and wasn’t with me she just drooped. I guess she thought the worst maybe. But I told her that Molly was outside. And I opened up my window wall and I motion for her to go out and as soon as she saw miles she flew out that door, raced across the deck and nuzzled her nose, checked her out, thrn nuzzled her ear and nose again. They then proceeded to come into the house together. It was really touching watching them. It just shows how close of a bond they have. Then Piper got all excited to see me right after that.

But right now I am being bugged to go for a WALK so I guess I had better get myself dressed and get out that door. Catch you all later.

Hi Sue & all that follow!

Sue, many years ago when we had two small dogs, I didn't realize how bonded they were until we lost one. It was so sad watching the other mope around the house. She finally came around but it took a long time. It's good you have the right apparel to wear for your weather. That means so much to be able to stay outside doing the types of things you do.

It's cool again in FL and we got down to 40 this morning when I got up and we are only about 64 now. We'll get in the low 40's again tonight but tomorrow we'll get into the low 70's and even see the low 80's next week. It's crazy weather we're having and although I don't care for theses cold snaps, it's nothing compared to so many like Sheila, Sue, O'Sharon and others.

I had lab work done again this morning and the bandage that wrapped all the way around my arm bruised the inside of my elbow when I took it off. The next time I go, which is on the beginning of March, I'll take my own Band Aid for them to use. Today's appointment was for my cardiologist and the next one is for my Primary doctor. Not sure why they can't share this information with each other instead of being poked an additional time. On the way home, we stopped at a small jewelry store, only because we had never been there before. Although we told them we were just looking around to see what they had, we both bought watches. It's been a while since I've worn a watch because they don't seem to last long, even though they were decent brands. So I thought I'd try again and got a Seiko and Steve got a Pulsar. After riding around a bit, we stopped at a small diner we had never been to for lunch and it was quite good and very affordable. Brenda's expression for these kind of places are "cheap and cheerful."

It's weekend so I'll be spending time in my music room between now and Sunday morning preparing for the next service.

Enjoy the rest of your day and be safe!

Sue, I actually communicated with someone from the UP about an opening they had. I think I would have liked the job but it was a longer commitment than I wanted so we didn't go far in discussions. I did save their info.

When Moxie died I thought Tips would be following quickly. He completely quit eating. So Tips and I adopted Peaches. It was the right move. He was a very senior dog but I know Peaches is the reason he was around 6 more months.

It rained here this morning. Ty and I both tracked dirt etc into the rig. I didn't realize how much my shoes accumulated so I caused the bigger mess. Another walk will be happening soon and we can do it again. Lol

I was running some errands this morning Had lunch and then took Emma to the groomer dropped her off and then went and got gas. I didnt really need anything at Costco so I just got gas and came home will pick Emma up in about 45 minutes. Gas was $3.35 but it seems like it is going up each day so thought I better fill up before it does it again.

Was a chilly morning today but going into freeze mode Sun and Mon. Anything below 20 is super cold for us. But that is it for the week will be back in the low 30's.

One of the local food trucks was parked up by Costco today, called Relish Dog and Pizza....but I had lunch before I left so that saved me from unnecessary calories LOL LOL I really am trying to watch my intake. I have gained back 21lbs and that is enough!!!!! Before I got sick I was trying to lose weight......but that scenario is over. I feel really back to normal.
We have a food truck lot here in Roseburg with various types of food and they all get great reviews on or community forum. Some are there every day and others travel around the city parking in different spots. So if you want something special have to read the Food truck forum to find out where the heck they will be that day. The food of choice in restaurants here is Mexican or Pizza......have oodles of them between the truck lot and the dine in places. I usually choose chinese food if I am picking up something to bring home.

Beth hope you find just the right job for you this summer.

Today was a nice day. It got up to 68 and was sunny. It was suppose to get down to 34 last night but was only 38. I didn't hear from the RV place about my step. There is a Louisiana campout next weekend in Lafayette. It's suppose to be cold again. I don't think I want to camp when it gets down to 31 again.

I went to the post office, Walmart and picked up cat food at the feed store. I forgot to see if the pet store had Sugar's food and stop at the bank. I was going to pick up some of Sugar's food at Petsmart last night but forgot then too. I need to tape my todo list on the dash of the car. Maybe then I wouldn't forget. Sunday when I went by Sam's gas was $2.76 but I didn't need gas. Yesterday It was $3.06 and I needed gas.

The restaurant we went to last night was in an old house. Ten of us showed up and the table they put us at was very cozy. With that many women talking it's hard for me to hear sometimes. I had a hamburger. It was messy but very good.

There are getting to be quite a few food trucks around here but I have never stopped at one. Most have Facebook accounts that tell where they will be and the specials of the day. I'm trying to get the food in the freezers down so I'm trying to not pick up food. I really wanted to get some fried fish at the deli today but didn't.

Irmi, I like Seiko watches. I lost my favorite one when I was mowing one time and never found it. I am wearing an old one that needs a new band. I have it tied with fishing twine.

Sue, I was getting confused with all the dog names! Riley, Miley, Molly and Miles... :?

Was busy at work today. I had to do damage control with a customer that my co-worker got nasty with for no reason. She has gotten in trouble before for getting into arguments and being rude with customers. I took the guy to my chair and cut his hair and apologized to him. He seemed like a nice guy so I don't know what her problem was. My manager was there and never said a word about it. But he can be the same way to customers too. I don't know if this guy will come back or not but he did get the phone number for Corporate. If I can't sell my house pretty soon, I might start looking for another job. I was already in pain with my sciatica just after a few hours today, so tonight I am really feeling it, even after taking Advil all day. My wrist has been hurting for a few days too. Not sure what I did to cause that, but have had that before. I am just falling apart!

The customer of mine that was kind of stalking me awhile back, came in for a haircut today. I keep the conversation pretty professional now. I mentioned about my back pain tho and he asked why we don't have mats around our chairs. I told him the owner won't get them for us (all the other shops have them). So about 2 hours later, he came in with a small cushioned mat for me. I wonder what the owner will say about that. I used it this afternoon tho. Will see how that works even tho it is only a few feet wide.

Time for my show (Gold Rush). Have a good night.
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

it was a stay inside day... just cause I didn't want to go out... we did get snow but not what they were predicting... without having been out I really can't judge except looking at what I can't see today on the back deck that I could see yesterday I would guess 2-3 inches... mom's snowblower is broken so the driveway didn't get cleaned off hopefully it will be fixed by tomorrow or my nephew will have found another source.. it might be fun trying to get out on Sunday for church...
I noticed yesterday that diesel was 4.99 at Mavrick other places were just over 5 I still look at it first have to get premium for mom's car... which is just lower than diesel usually
I need to make a decision on the Swedish Weave I am working on have finished the weaving on one end but have a lot of material so I either waste material or I increase the pattern not sure what I want to do
decided on my color sequence for the crocheted afghan... was putting the row on that starts the pattern and thought that I was off a stitch so pulled backed all the rows corrected my error got it all back together and I was off a stitch .... oops I guess either I didn't count right or something I just added a stitch in one stitch... so irritating
it was nice of your customer to bring you the mat Barbie I was going to bring up the various names as well but you beat me too it  you all have a great day
