Thursday and snow

we did get snow yesterday it was funny I couldn't decide if it was snowing or was being blown off the roof or both... so went to open the garage door so I could see what the condition of the driveway was... and there are two young men shoveling the drive it's a good size drive so yelled out to them (after all I'm barefoot and in pj's) asked if the want to use the snow blower...I think they consulted with each other to see if one of them knows how to use it they decided they did got it out and used it... so after I saw their truck was gone went to close the door... and it was closed now how did they do that???? any way was very grateful for their kindness... my nephew usually takes care of it but they are so busy and this was a big help to him... so now we are in the deep freeze... wasn't predicted to get above 0 I didn't check very often but when I did it wasn't there.... when I woke up think it was -21 right now it's -10 I was going to go to the store today do some retail therapy but thought I'd better look for the information on the chair as it's not working well all the time... I am thinking it needs a new controller.. or perhaps a battery somewhere for some reason as it's plugged in... it's a back up battery if I could get it to work I would really think it was a operator error... but I have not at times been able to get it to work...
Mom is still not sounding good I have to wonder if I should take her to the dr's but I'm not sure she will willing go...l will see tomorrow... and hopefully I will get to the store want to go to Smith's for food stuff and Target see if I can find something for mom... swore I was going to quit getting her anything as she never uses anything ran across a gift card from last year that my brother gave her...
glad the puppy is doing well
hopefully everything goes well with all of you in this weather situation

Well...I think I will keep quiet on this one (...80* and sunny...)

Today was a long busy day at work! This afternoon, the lobby was full and we had over an hour wait and ended up turning people away an hour before we closed. Didn't finish cutting until half an hour after closing. I did 21 haircuts and was in a lot of pain for awhile, but found a couple Advil in my purse and took those and they helped get me thru the rest of the day. Tomorrow will probably be the same or worse! (since I can't complain about the weather, I will complain about work! )

My friend Debby dropped off some homemade chocolate covered peanut butter cookies today. Found them on my deck when I got home from work. Yum! Luckily, the raccoons didn't find them first! When I lived in Vista, a neighbor left a bag of cookies by my door. All I found was a torn open bag, and cookie crumbs! Raccoons had a nice treat!
