Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Morning All, weather is same old. Started adding wicks to houseplants and made a horrible mess. Got tired of clean soil off kitchen counters so taking a break. Making a mess on the balcony means mess drops between decking boards down on the tenant below. I miss a garage. Beth and Judy great pictures, beautiful scenery. Karen glad to hear your good news and hope Covid symptoms improving too. High humidity predicted all week so will be hanging at home. Be safe

Shirl, Could you cut the side of a trash bag and put it on counter, them when done gather it up and no mess?
It's 84 and warm here with temps headed to high 90's again. I'm just getting going for day, hoping to knock out a few items on to do list. I did sleep better, bit over 7 hours, so that's a big plus.Nothing exciting here. Post CoVid is way past annoying at past 6 months. Hope Drs & scientist researchers put stuff together soon to better help the thousands of us suffering.
I made a big batch of meatballs yesterday, using Parmesan and pork panko with eggs as binder and beef and italian sausage for meat. They turned out really good and I put some away I freezer for another meal, plus some in fridge for tonight. My son was big help. Once I got all ingredients in bowl, he put on gloves and mixed it well for me. My hands get to hurting if I handle cold meat long. Probably the best tasting meatballs I've made ever. Will be using this recipe again.,
Hope you all have a good day.

Shirl, maybe you could put your plants in a boot tray to keep things from falling on the patio below. I put a litter box in one for cats that don't have good aim. I found it at Walmart where the outdoor mats are.

It hasn't rained this morning but I got another 1/4 inch over night. It looks like it could rain any time. Sugar has wanted to lay out on the porch all morning.

I tried a recipe with the salmon pieces last night that covers up the salmon taste. It wasn't bad. It's Pecan Crusted Honey Mustard Salmon. I also put some sweet pepper egg roll sauce on it too.

I have been trying to keep up with my phone in case the plumbers call again. I turned on an outside faucet to fill Sugar's outside water bucket and it was leaking. Something else to get fixed.

Good afternoon, another boring day but I did get my chicken and dressing made up. It was very tasty but I still cannot eat too much. I have a new rule, I am staying OFF the scale Way too stressful.

We have had no water since 8am. Apparently a large main ruptured during the night. Thank goodness I got to make my coffee this morning. I had half a case of bottled water so no problem right now. It isnt back on yet but hope it comes on soon, I have dishes to wash lol

Martha, why do you buy salmon if you don't like the taste of it? Just curious...

Long day at work today. 9-6. I had an hour for lunch so I went to the new storage place to cancel my insurance they told me I had to have. I found out I don't HAVE to have it since my homeowners insurance covers it. So the guy removed it and credited back the 2 months worth ($15 per month!). Had a low tire so got that aired up on the way back to work. So a couple things done.

Yesterday, I stopped to pick up Lola's ashes. They gave me a bag with paw prints on it and some things inside. I didn't look at it until this morning. There was a nice card with the Rainbow Bridge poem inside, a pretty wooden box sealed with her cremains inside and a metal plate with her name on it, and then there was a little round flat piece of clay (or something) with her paw print in it. That was all so special! I just expected a little bag of ashes.

Just chilling tonight. Don't have to work until 1pm tomorrow. Then 3 days off.
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Barbie, I'm still trying to figure out why I bought the salmon. lol It was a bag from Sam's with individually wrapped pieces. I only have 4 pieces left. It was pretty good using that recipe. Salmon patties was something that my mother made and I liked them.

Martha there is a similar recipe on AllRecipes that is really good it's my go too when I get salmon
I went looking for it the other day and found a couple other's similar to the one I like took me a moment to find it... you take and put Dijon mustard on the salmon top with a mixture of bread crumbs parsley and pecans and bake for some reason it seems like I'm forgetting something I did the salmon the other day in the air fryer... it was really good... if you go looking for it think is called Pecan crusted Dijon Salmon and has a lot of reviews... well over a thousand
