Monday June 27

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Monday June 27

Morning All, cloudy and heavy storms predicted. Has been a boring few days, not much going on. Did do battle with Mighty Verizon on behalf of my brother and his unreliable phone service. He lives in the country and telephone lines and connections are ancient. Verizon isn’t going to replace them and there is no cell service. I told them to at least use duct tape. Juliet tomato plant died and I think it was some kind of blight. Anyhow it went in the dumpster along with the large amount of potting soil. I scrubbed the huge pot but do not feel like hauling more soil and starting over. New tenant above me drenched my balcony and not sure with what. If just water ok, I can clean but upset if it was some kind of chemical cleaner. Management is checking. Shelia, my granddaughter said she had several cans of salmon in her pantry. I told her to save for a down payment on a house. Not sure of British time but hope Judy is in the air and on her way home. I’m going to look in the medicine cabinet to see if I have any happy pills. I need an attitude adjustment. :D Be safe

Good morning ladies
Have had a few good rains including high winds. It really rearranged some things in my yard. Humidity is up now and ac kicked on. Have been binging on movies the last couple days, of course they are reruns from DVD collection but tv is reruns too. Maybe today I will pull up past episodes of Heartland and get caught up on that series.
Hope Judy returns safely today, and now there's Anita making her trip across the ocean.
Noting else to mention in my world. Y'all have a great day.

Another warm day here. Had a lazy weekend, just wasnt feeling very motivated and today is no better. Temps will drop to the 80's then 70's. I did go out and water and sprinkle a little bone meal around my tomato plants. Tomatoes are heavy feeders so I am trying to keep up, we shall see.

Feeling a bit puny today, not sure what is up but will just lay low for the rest of the day.

On tap another 100° plus day again. Rare clouds blow through the blue blue sky. I was really puny yesterday, spent most of day watching YouTube. Today I need to get moving for Curves, then begin emptying sunroom back into pantry! With that small window AC out there, it stays reasonable! Need to make a Costco run for chicken for my girls tomorrow. Now that Mandy decided raw chicken is tasty, I'm going through it faster. I'm still irritated they keep putting fewer legs in the packages. There are 3 vac packs per strip. Originally it was 7 legs per pack. Then 6. Now 5! If they keep going, pretty soon I'll be paying for empty package! It's sold by the pound, so I don't get reducing number per pack. So wasteful to put less in each pack so have to make more packs! I think we all get prices are going up, so I just don't get their strategy!
I thought Judy was boarding tuesdaynLondon time?
I'm off and heading to kitchen for morning chores then Curves.

Yes, I am off to the airport tomorrow. Need to get up at 5 am and catch cab by 5:30am to get to Paddington Station to catch Paddington Express to Heathrow. Flight leaves at 9:20 am and arrives in Ohio at 5:30 pm, after stopover in JFK. Have a ride arranged to pick me up and take me to RV storage lot and then will head to state park campground.

DId a lot of walking today, but holding food down OK. Have not done my nightly COVID test yet, however.

Well it must be in the air, I also feel puny. Maybe it is the phase of the moon or for me, it could be way too much time on FB.

Judy I hope all goes well for all your connections in the morning. Thinking of Anita chilling in Iceland although it is beautiful and the temperature is perfect here today.

wow I was scrolling down reading and expecting more and then realized I had gone through the postings... we are few in number today...
I guess I accomplished all that I planned on so that is a positive... plants all watered both inside and out... my niece told me that she watered them last week while I was gone so wasn't overly worried I've been going almost two weeks but that could be because it was cooler now it's warming up I might need to water more frequently ... but last not one of the plants sure looked like it have been a long time since it was water might have been over looked... dumped a big glass of water on it last night looked chipper and happy today... don't know why but the glasses I took out of the dishwasher this morning were sure dismal so I went and ran a cleaner through the dishwasher and then washed out the glasses and loaded the dishwasher... the dishes were clean just not the glasses ran a load of clothes... and took out the garbage ... garbage pickup is tomorrow... and spent some time on my Swedish weave that I am trying to finish got one end fringed now to tie the knots my friend does 3 strands of thread in each knot at that rate it will take forever only took me 3-4 days to get it to this point ... then on to the new Swedish Weave. or the memory box I really ought to work on it so when dd and sil make it up they can take it back to granddaughter... not something I want to mail...
Sorry Shir about your tomato not making it... always frustrating especially when you are looking forward to it...
too bad that this movie is one that I don't really recall know that I've seen it but can't really remember it... I guess I will stay up to the end not that I really go to sleep when I go to the bedroom but I at least get started on the stuff you do before going to sleep earlier.... check out FB prayers and read FB can take way to much time...
got some chicken out for supper tomorrow night but if it's not thawed I might pull the hot dogs out they are so good in the air fryer...
you all have a great day
