Wednesday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Wednesday

Saw two nice things today—a train with people in it and the sun for a while. Even wearing shorts today though with light jacket. Today is a non-strike day, so limited trains today and none tomorrow. Whatever happens I am covered at least.

Staying in Sterling Scotland tonight and will drive to York tomorrow.

And good advice about the circle with A in it. Does a good job of turning off the stop and start. Thanks.

Hi Judy & Lyn & all that check in!

Judy, I hope things go well for you as you make your way back home. Lyn, I take it you never heard from your daughter about Millie?

As we were taking the golf cart for a spin, that we are taking care of while the owners are gone for the summer, we stopped and talked to a business that is putting very pretty pavers in the landscaped portion of our yards. He's supposed to stop by later this afternoon. I hope we can afford to do something.

Rain!!!! A real down pour - even it if was only for about 5 minutes - loved it! Now, it's just dripping & sun is out. Oh well, I'll take whatever we can get.

Judy, sounds like you've got the train situation covered no matter what happens. Enjoy what time you have left there.
Ava, Patrick is absolutely adorable! And happy to see you online again.
Barbie, hope you feel better each day... take it easy.

I've made some progress cleaning out my bedroom closet & cabinet. Took a small load to Savers. Finally making some headway.
Can't really get rid of much from spare bedroom closet since it's mostly DD's.

Going to have kids a bit - Olivia will visit this afternoon & tomorrow & Jordi all next week due to a change of their vacation plans. I actually volunteered to have them - will try to plan outings each morning. Jordi has already changed so much just after 2 weeks in preschool full-time. I know they can't stay little forever so I want to soak it up while I can.

well, the drips of rain have stopped so need to take out the trash.

Good afternoon ladies!

Slept in til 11 or so. Then went to do haircuts for a new couple. Very nice people!

Today is the 15th anniversary of my mom's passing. Sure do miss her! I still dream about her all the time.

My sinus infection is in full swing! Actually, I think it is about done since I have been blowing out tons of nasty crap all morning and still getting rid of more. I think I will feel much better once it is all done! Probably why I haven't been feeling totally well the past few days. Should have a much clearer head after this passes.

It is partly cloudy today. Seems strange to see clouds in the sky! Don't see that too often here. I think the storm that Catherine is dealing with is heading this way. I am not holding my breath for rain here tho. Even if it rains in Palm Springs, by the time it gets across the valley to my side, it usually peters out. We usually only get rain when it comes up from the south. But I will take the clouds.

I should do laundry but not feeling like it today. May just read and work on my autobiography instead. Oh, and set up the aquarium for Karma. It is hard for him to do his zoomies in that little container.

Have a good day!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

what I get for going to the stores... brought back 2 boxes of Zoom and a larger box of one of the cereals that mom likes unfortunately no place in the pantry and I refuse to put them downstairs
a long day not sure why it takes me longer to drive the same distance as my kids but it does they say I dry slow I drove the speed limit most of the time... and only three stops no make that 5 stops... got gas potty and cookies they make really good cookies. ice cream through the drive through, gas and potty break, ran into walmart to see if by any chance my books were there they weren't and I didn't get anything else oh and one of the stops was pulled in to rest area to see what the texts and calls were... stopped at grandson and got my mom's car so had to switch stuff over from dd's car into mom's car... did stop at dd's house and saw the area that will be the apartment it is bigger than the 5th wheel. drove past the post office no parking then on to the condo eldest dd wants me to go take pictures the bank wants some for someone but the ones the tenant took weren't what they wanted but no parking there either... and I was tired enough both places that I wasn't going to walk further than I had to...
did stop at the grocery store for milk and something for tomorrow night decided on BLT's good thing I got bread as what was here was moldy
saw the strangest over sized things three of them... perhaps wind turbines but the shape didn't seem right what ever they were they were huge!!!
well the stuff on my bed isn't going to put it's self away
you all have a great day

I spent the afternoon happily listening to thunder!! :o No storm, and only a couple drops of rain, but lots of thunder. I miss thunder storms from back home. We sure could have used some rain tho.

I think I finally got rid of everything in my sinuses. They are sore but feel clear now.

Hopefully, I will feel all better tomorrow and can actually accomplish something.
