Morning everyone. Supposed to hit the 90's here today, but the humidity is what's going to get us! GD is at Girl Scout Camp this week and having a great time. Next week she's back to regular day care and then we are off to see her Daddy.

Zee, to let you know, I ordered the Even Brake system from Camping World (online) and saved myself the state tax. It's a pricey system, and not exactly what I wanted, but I've run out of time. It was cheaper than the RV place up the road here. I had the impression that they had one in stock, but when I stopped in there this morning they told me they would hav to order it. So, I'll give this a try and hopefully it won't be too difficult and will work properly. Worse case and it doesn't work as it should, it does have a "Brake Away Only" mode on it.

Echo, great to have you back and I can only imagine that hospital bill, as none of that is reasonable any more. I sure hope they can get you some assistance. If not, maybe a payment plan for the rest of forever? Sounds like if you get down outta them thar hills you'll feel much better. I wish you much luck in finding other employment. I've no doubt that you'll be able to find something. I'm sure there are probably even other places you could workkamp. You still have that tent, right?

Hope every one else has a great day and safe travels.

Wow, I'm running late today! I'm here at school, have finished breakfast duty and settled in at my desk in the tax office to do some jobs for the Nurse.

I'm excited about seing Ibaimo and Soosie at AuSable River Campsite this weekend. I will probably get there Sunday morning,... Saturday evening if I'm lucky. Depends on grad parties and if after graduation and two senior girl's parties how much energy I have left. I'll be hitched and ready that a.m.

Then it will be home to catch up on housework and enjoy a visit from a childhood friend on Thursday the 2nd. 4th will be at the family camp with kids, grandkids,... a few days off and hit the road to next bluegrass festival on the 7th. So it will be busy summer.

I've reallly enjoyed the Ididaroad gang's reports and photos. Liz, Carol and Beth,... you rock!

Have a great day!

Morning! Well, still morning here in the PNW. And a cool one to boot! It was pretty hot yesterday, in the 80s, hot for us. ;)
Yesterday I had my Red Hat Ladies luncheon at noon. I ordered pecan crusted salmon salad. It was sooo good! Nice greens topped with about 4 oz of salmon crusted with the sweet sugar coated crushed pecans and sugar coated pecan halves sprinkled around. Came with a nice chunk of focaccia bread, which I only sampled. In my mind that kept down the caloric intake.
After the lunch I bowled a couple games with a friend and then came home to mow my grass.
Zeee I did see Margie's rig for sale. Actually several sisters have let me know about it. And although it's a very nice rig, it's just not quite what I'm looking for.
Glad to see Echo posting again and hope she can find answers to her health problems and finances. You are always on our hearts, lady! Kelly, too. Take care!

Hi ALL!

It's 5;00pm here, and 86 degrees! WONDERFUL!!!! REAL summer weather at last!

I've been researching how to cover my geodesic dome with screening. It looks like a very challenging and daunting physics problem that will take all summer to complete! I am learning a lot about domes reading about them, however.

I hope the rest of you had as nice a day as I have had here this afternoon. Tomorrow morning will be the last day of school until September. I will remember that when my alarm goes off for the last time for two months! If it stays as nice as it is right now.....warm with a good breeze.....I'll probably stay in the leanto again tonight, after I finish mowing down there. I have to pack this trailer up tomorrow after school if I am to haul it to meet Bob (from ORS group) and Cedar. It's a long, drawn out job for me alone, but.....I could still opt for a tent cot in the back of my pickup!

We shall see. Off to feed critters and pack up gas for lawn mower at pond and my alarm clock!

Good leftover coffee, Barbzee!!! I might add some toddy for the body to it for the campfire tonight!
Life is about learning to dance in the rain
Happy travels!
