I'm trying to come up with something that I did today... other than work on my Swedish Weave and doing some texting made supper I really can't think of anything that I have done...
I did take some pictures and text them to Beth on my Swedish Weave and Beth posted them for me... hope that helps Anne.
I had plans on going to Idaho Falls tomorrow for a hair cut and Wally world trip but my brother isn't able to come over although he said he'd watch mom at his house I asked if they got snow and he said they did I know that he can't take care of his walks right now so was concerned with getting her into his house and quite frankly he didn't sound good.... and he just got back from NJ perhaps not the best idea to have him around mom for a little bit... but bummed that I don't get a day away ... oh well that is the way it is... tomorrow I will make cake and am thinking of ordering some Indian food for take out and we will share an order hopefully enough in one order for both of us... mom doesn't eat a lot I know she won't eat the Kheer it has raisins in it...
and golly if I'm going to splurge I might as well do it all the way...
hopefully the temps will start going up we sometimes get a January thaw it would be nice but it's cold really cold tonight... discovered that the temp posted on the phone and the temps on the reporting site wherever that maybe aren't always the same but my phone says it's 11 right now the reporting site has been lower than the phone... who knows who is correct
Shirl how do you make your Salmon Cakes? Salmon Patties were one of my husbands favorite dishes... and every once in awhile the kids will ask me to make it... not a cheap dish though... I did see red salmon in the smaller size yesterday I might get it and make it for mom and myself...think it would be enough
you all have a good day

Anne, I think the breakdown in communication is coming because many of us have older TVs. I know my bedroom tv is probably 12 and living room maybe 10. If the outlets aren't there, it's just not as simple as you say. My tv in bedroom has neither optical or USB.
Went to Curves and to grocery store. Worked on hutch. Had to wait until After dark before Amazon delivered plate cases I wanted, so I could safely pack Grandmas china! Went to a welcome home for a returning missionary, the grandson of a very good friend. Then watched tv rest of night.

Annie, I keep reading back over the posts about the tech issues and trying to understand as to how you got the idea people were piling ridicule on you. That certainly wasn’t my intent and I personally don’t think anyone else would do that to another member. I just honestly said I didn’t understand. Also like Velda noted all TV’s aren’t the same, ours are very old and we don’t buy new ones because we would have to hire someone to come in and set them up and I don’t want people coming in with this surge in the virus. Besides, my DH is worse at tech stuff than I am we would probably never get them to turn on!! That said, I am sorry you felt hurt but please know that appreciate that you tried to help.
