Karen, your pizza sounds scrumptious. I don’t have the fixings so will order a pizza. Wish Martha lived close by so we could share. They bargin prices for large so that is what I order. Eat two slices and freeze individual slices for another time. Martha that really was a good idea. Lol

I will make you all jealous because I ordered and picked up a medium Domino's pizza with mushrooms and onions yesterday! Had two pieces for dinner last night, and it was delicious! My favorite kind. I parked on a side road right next to Domino's and ordered it from my motorhome. One thing I like about taking my motorhome shopping is being comfortable sitting in it and waiting for something. Had another piece for lunch today. Also found a really great cupcake shop in Ravenna, OH, which is a pretty small town, but am getting hooked on their cupcakes!!!

But now I am hungry for a White Castle hamburger or two, except there aren't any White Castle's near Cleveland. Closest is in Detroit or Columbus. Darn. Also hungry for good Chinese, so will look around this coming weekend. Son is out of town on business all this week and they will be at their condo Saturday night, so won't see anyone until Sunday. I will be going to East Harbor SP near Sandusky on Wednesday, which is where their condo is.

Also, got a good haircut today. Last couple of weeks have been impossible to get an appt because kids started school and a lot of salons were having back-to-school sales. Still working on sorting stuff--got a good new bra and ordered one more, so tossed all my ancient and stretched out bras into the trash. Also tossing some t-shirts out because I have lost weight over the past 9 years and still have been wearing shirts that are too big and baggy. Comfortable, but look awful, so time to toss stuff.

Finally, I was in Walmart last Friday and saw several groups of young college student girls buying stuff for their rooms! Must have been move-in week.

Good evening gals!

It is very hazy here with smoke from the Dixie fire, they say. Can't even see the mountains tonight. The sun is setting and the light coming in here is orange, so should be a pretty sunset.

Had my PT this morning and she really worked me hard today! OUCH! Went to work and after a few hours, was having a lot of soreness. I made it until 5:30 when I just couldn't keep going so went home a little early. Am very tired today too since I couldn't get to sleep until almost 4am this morning! I did make time to go over and feed and pet Lily this morning. Her owner is back home tonight. Had a nice time with Lily and so glad she came out from hiding and let me love on her! She is so sweet! And a very large cat! She is a Maine Coon tho and they are big cats!

Temps here have been comfortable but they will be going up starting tomorrow and thru the weekend before coming back down next week. Also more monsoon storms predicted for early next week. I am looking forward to cooler temps so I can get outside and clean up around the deck and yard. Most people do spring cleaning after winter. We do fall cleaning after summer, here! Want it to look nice if/when the snowbirds come back this winter. Not a lot to do around here but just some cleanup here and there. Get some new plants, etc. We plant our flowers and veggies here in the fall too. :D

Gonna lay low tonight, get out my heating pad and go to bed early. I will be able to sleep in tomorrow. I need to take something to relax me tonight so I can get to sleep early.

As far as Dominoes pizza, none of them around here deliver. Even thru the Covid shutdown, they didn't deliver. Pick up only. So strange, since that is kind of their thing. Wasn't their motto "Dominoes Delivers"? I haven't actually found any pizza place around here that delivers. And I don't like frozen pizza. Such a dilemma! :o

BJ, good luck puppy shopping!

Speaking of food, I need to get some dinner...

Judy, I love White Castle!! I grew up on them! You can buy frozen ones but they just are not the same. Florida has them but they are called Krystals, but exactly the same menu, building, "gut bombs", etc
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Sue, I would love the recipe for the pizza with the chicken crust, as I eat low carb.

Forgot something. LED bulbs are advertised as lasting thousands of hours, but I have recently discovered that they get dimmer over time because some of the little tiny lights in them burn out. Some of mine started flashing as well. So, i switched the one over my bed that I use as a reading light with the one from the far side of the bed that never gets used. AMAZING! It is about twice as bright. This was last week and I ordered new ones. The problem is that the reading light bulbs show and have little plastic lenses over each tiny part of the light. I ordered some from Walmart and they sent a bulb that would work but looks crummy, so I am returning them. Checked with Camping World and the local RV dealer, and no one has the right one. Am going to call Fleetwood tomorrow and also try Valtera, who made the bulb. In the meantime, I am happy to have three other reading lights to steal bulbs from!

So, just now, took out the bulb from the ceiling light over my recliner that I use all the time and replaced it with a bulb from a ceiling light over the cab-over bunk and behind the TV. Same thing--about twice as bright! So next time I go out, I will pick up some new LED bulbs. The ones in the ceiling lights are pretty standard.

Judy, my best led's are my oldest ones. I discovered they come in different warmths and I guess I bought the wrong ones when I moved to this rig in 2014 (I had more lights). The ones I transferred from my old rig are still bright and wonderful. So, I have them where I want more light and the newer ones where I don't need it. So make sure you get the right warmth. I forget which is which.

I prefer crispy thin crust pizza, so am picky lol. I'll eat any, but since I get it so rarely I unless I'm with someone, I'll wait til I can get what I like. And that rules out most of the chains like Domino's.

Sheila, I'm glad you made it back safely. What a whirlwind trip.

Barbie, sorry the pt didn't give more relief. I hope you feel relief from it tomorrow.

My therapist told me I would be sore after that. I guess it didn't help that I was using it so much at work today. Feels better tonight since I am not using it.

Here are the pics from the wedding...

You looked very nice Barbara! Hope your arm feels better. Maybe your work place has a CBD/THC pain relief cream you could try. Mel found it very effective and made his own.
Sue, there are several versions of chicken crust, some use raw chicken that's ground, some use canned chicken and then there is what you mention. But, since tomato products cause me mouth sores and heartburn, I gave them up too. I can do without pizza, as I never was a true pizza lover, it was more a social thing-you know, go out for pizza and soda with friends, or pizza for the family bevaise our boys loved it. I no longer bother to eat that which was not my favorite.

Yes, Barbie, you look very nice in the photos!

And Tina, very nice to see you post. Hope you are doing well.

I'm with you, Velda. I have never cared very much for pizza. I used to maybe eat a slice when the boss would order it for the office, but almost never order it on my own.

It has been amazingly and thrillingly cool during the day, for the last several days - and almost cold at night. What a relief!

Have gotten back to checking Klamath Falls real estate listings almost on a daily basis on Zillow.

Sue, thanks for sending all of the info on Michigan - your area looks really beautiful, and I am sure I would love it there. But all of my family and friends are here in California. If I should move so far away I don't think I would ever see anyone in my circle again, unless I myself made a trip back to Cal to visit them.

Klamath Falls is not green like your Michigan, but it is lovely in it's own way - it is mostly high desert - and (probably because of the elevation there, at just over 4,000 feet above sea level), days are cooler there than here, and KF is not so impossibly far away that my people couldn't come to visit.

Plus, KF has four seasons, and a bit of snow in the winter.

. . .And volcanoes. Did I mention volcanoes?  KF is in the heart of the lower Cascades, about 45 minutes from my favorite volcano of all, the Medicine Lake Volcano. MLV is about 5 -6 hours from where I live now, can only get up there rarely. Were I living in KF, I could get up there every day if I wanted to. The Lava Beds National Monument is on the lower slopes of MLV. AND towering Mt. Shasta volcano - 14,000 feet in elevation - can easily be seen from many places in KF. It would be a dream come true to live in a home with a view of Shasta!

And Mt. Mazama volcano! Mt. Mazama (think Crater Lake National Park) is about 50 miles north of KF.

LOL. Be still my heart. 8-)

Problem being at the moment is that home prices have increased more than 50% over the last two or three years, when I first started looking.

Oh well! In real estate, what goes up, often comes back down. I think when the mortgage and rent moratoriums end, prices will head back down. For unhappy reasons for those renting and paying mortgages, unfortunately, but maybe giving some wiggle room for those wishing to make a move.

You all have a nice day!
