we had window wiper rain  meaning had to turn on the wipers either to clean off the dirt produced or the rain... not a lot of rain that could change this weekend... and not the wind that they got in other parts of the state... although it is much cooler than it was for a few days. think tomorrow I'd better take a tank in and get it filled it's suppose to be cooler for several days...had hopes that I wouldn't need to I wanted to take those tanks empty... maybe I will take the 7 gal one in and get it refilled and use it... that might be the way to go as those I don't mind if they are full or not and at least one better be as it is what the fridge and stove as well as heater hot water get their propane from...
made a trip to walmart and got most of what I went for no clorax wipes though forgot my list and haven't checked it yet.... think tomorrow I need to do a catch up day tree maybe down but stuff is not back to where it should be.. not sure if that is what I will work on or if it's the reclaiming the counters table ect... have a plant that I want to repot might do that as well and if it's not windy I should change the oil... it's just the doing it oh yes and check the water in the batteries...
surely hope that Tina starts feeling better soon...
heard of another of my friends who has passed away. I am sure that it was age that took her just feeling sad about it ...
I think I could wear a mask for the unknown future but am so tired of the not being able to socialize miss feeling free to sit down and just enjoy someone's company...
Irmi I bet that casita is just going to be fun...
Barbi glad you made it home ok... does your GPS need to be upgraded? seems like as it is is unreliable
Beth that sounds awesome although I am not sure I'd want to clean rooms did that part of one summer... the head housekeeper decided that her relative needed the job worse than I did ... fired over the phone I was so hurt  ... but that was so many years ago...
had to laugh today got home and was taking in bags and heard the hummers... finally located them 2 of them not happy which each other down really low not used to seeing them almost on the ground...if they had been teenagers I'd say that they were dukeing it out... I know that they can be very territorial but this was beyond that!!!!
I am like Pat the other day for sure there was something I wanted to comment on but it is gone...
you all have a good day

Sheila, this is a brand new GPS.

Did you hear about that wind storm as it went through Yosemite? Trees down, trucks and heavy equipment crushed , buildings damaged, roads blocked by trees. KCRA weather guy said tonight in his private FB chat that winds were clocked at 70 mph for gusts! Yikes.
Stay safe all.

Barbie, do check to see if there is an option for Avoidances on your gps. When going around town, I avoid highways & have to switch it to allow them when needed. But telling me to take the next exit is one of the symptoms when I leave the setting to avoid highways. My setting for this is under Navigation. (it's a garmin so it might be something different on yours)
Glad you made it home safely.

Velda, I did hear that Yosemite had been closed due to the winds, but didn't hear about the damage there. Wow! How scary!

Catherine, I will have to go thru the manual and check out the options. Some of them are not very obvious about what they do. Thanks!
