I must have misread your post. I thought you finally got some rain later. There supposedly is another system heading in at the end of the week, but who knows...
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Barbara, our local NBC affiliate, KCRA, has this great weather guy Mark Finan ( PhD) who has a evening fireside chat on weather a few times a week, usually Tuesday and Thursday , but adds other days if weather is active. It's worth a listen, if you like weather stuff, as he answers questions live and goes way more into Calfornia weather than he has time for on air. It's via Facebook live and usually around 8 pm. Last night he talked about how this storm wimped out and the Wednesday storm has fallen apart too. There are people listening from a variety of areas, mostly northern California, but others have discovered him too. He tries to call out your name if he sees it scroll across and if you ask a question that adds to the discussion, he will say hi by name then answer. A few weeks ago I asked about atmospheric river and he thanked me and went into great detail in a way easy to understand. He has a "fireplace" on screen behind him, thus they are called fireside chats. Look him up on Facebook as kcra Mark Finan.

Ha ha, yes I do recall Romper Room. You will find his chats fun because it isn't a huge group, and he is engaging and entertaining. He will often ask, so, what was your weather today and people wil answer and he will take that and tie it to maps and charts so it's easier to understand. One local answered last night, I'm from Citrus Heights ( next to us) but watching from Mazatland tonight! That was interesting and he commented on weather where she was! Always entertaining and he is an amazing photographer and often posts his photos on his page and will show on live sometimes a particular weather related photo.
Hugs to you and Lola.
