Good Morning Friday!

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Got a few things done today. Got the trash taken out and most of my laundry done, including my comforter and throw blanket that Lola threw up on the other day.

My golf cart batteries were dead again. I was gonna check the water levels and add some as needed but read that the batteries need to be fully charged before you do that. My cart was too far from the shed (where the outlet is) for the extension cord to reach so I went to Home Depot to get a longer one. Have had that plugged in all day. Hope it finally takes a charge or I will have to call the cart guy again. forgot to call about the dental insurance.

Got my Covid results back - negative. :D I haven't heard anything yet about shutting down. But they say it will happen in the next day or two.

Judy, hope you can stay put for the month. Beth, closing the campgrounds there will probably cut down quite a bit on your business, I assume.

Good night...
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

The science has come out that it is mainly transmitted by droplets that is why they are advocating masks for everyone. Since they know so much more about it than when it started they say it doesnt live long on surfaces so I dont leave my stuff out for days anymore. I wash my hands more now tho than I ever did and that is what we need to be doing more of. Do I worry about it, of course I do. But I am very diligent about masking up and washing my hands and sanitizing when out. I dont go to crowded areas. I do get drive thru food once in a while, I go buy groceries (early in the morning usually). I just cannot live my live in fear. I have a healthy respect for avoiding possibilities of exposure. I wash my fruits and veggies when I buy them and again before I prepare them.
Can food products spread COVID-19?
There is no evidence to suggest that food produced in the United States or imported from countries affected by COVID-19 can transmit COVID-19.

Can I get COVID-19 from eating fresh food?
There is currently no evidence that people can catch COVID-19 from food, including fruits and vegetables. Fresh fruits and vegetables are part of a healthy diet and their consumption should be encouraged

I like your thoughts Karen. I think we need to find our comfort zone and then as new information comes out, reassess our decisions. I'm beginning to think for me, the isolation is causing several problems both emotionally and physical which leads me to think I need to increase my participation in life! My only contact with my friends has been outdoors and phone conversations. I have only been for a massage one time and I used to go every other week and my body is screaming at me that it really needs attention!! But the woman who does my massage has children in school and I feel that the risk might outweigh the need but I am definitely wavering on that decision! I used to go for acupuncture every two weeks. I have been twice but will go again as she is also a doctor and when in the room with me wears 2 masks! Also she only works with two or three people a day. I long for a Cappuccino and have found a place that does curbside so I am going to do that. We do get carry out food occasionally but no indoor or outdoor dining. My energy lever is terrible and I attribute that to emotional toll. The virus has caused us to adapt overnight to a whole new way of life and it is an adjustment we could have never imagined. So learning how to navigate this new reality is daunting to say the least.
