I AM SAFE BUT SO SURREAL

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Thanks everyone. I am hanging in here. I have a safe place to stay and spent much time today on the phone trying to keep up with all the news. I swear half of Oregon is now having fires. This one just came on so fast. If I had even thought those dang firefighters (God Bless Em) were not going to get the fire out I would have thrown in a few more things ha ha

I think about the things I lost, some very important and then some I just wish I had. I didnt grab my MiFi or my charger for my Fitbit....ya know important things ha ha

Everybody is being so encouraging and I want you to know I love you all.

So, so glad to hear from you! Glad you are safe. A lot of hearts are here caring, praying, and willing to help however they can. We may be scattered all over the continent, but we're together in spirit.

I am safe and I am fortunate that my insurance company is stepping up like they should. They are depositing money in my account to replace some things I can use right now. Which isnt much because I have one suitcase with a few clothes I bought LOL I need some shoes and a coat first. Otherwise I am just going to do laundry and practice being that minimalist I always desired to be but never succeeded ha ha

Karen, one day at a time...

Does Emma have a few toys to play with and comfort her? I am sure she is confused about all this.
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
