Weds afternoon...

I started to read Sue's posting and thought wow that sounds familiar so looked at the date... I am never on early enough start this off.... and it's not even morning even in my time zone!!!
where is everyone???
at my mom's using her wifi today pondering after reading all your messages Irmi I have had a jet pack for I guess about 12 years give or take the first year in Q I went to the library sometime in the spring I got the MIFI and have had it every since ... this one didn't last that long about 3-4 years not sure which perhaps I ought to take it to the store see if it's fixable..
or perhaps I ought to learn how to use the hot spot the problem with that is there are 5 of us on the same system and although it is unlimited... to a certain amount then we slow down the MIFI has it's own amount so perhaps that is what I ought to do... as I have a few times if not careful gone into slow down time.
as to weather we had wind lots of it... not sure of the high but bet it was into the high 70s low 80s... we really notice it when it gets really hot the 90 con be unbearable thankfully it rarely happens..
tomorrow not sure what the plans are for sure not opening morning coffee   I am still stunned
my plants are looking so good.. had a plant that I wondered about when I left for the week still not sure if it will survive or if I should just replace it problem is finding a plant to replace it with... and one other plant didn't survive the week away so my dgd did well...I bought a African Violet the other day prior to my Utah trip... huge huge blooms large leaves and only 5 dollars even if it doesn't rebloom I will have enjoyed it 5 dollars worth... ;)
my dd and her husband have been building a garage with a apartment over it... for a couple of years for the most part it has just been them I think he had the frame work put up professionally and a few other things but for the most part it's been them doing it I think they are through with the apartment and we have all hands on deck for cleaning on Saturday so can't go to Verizon then have to go to Idaho Falls for the authentic Verizon store don't really like the the bullfrog ones..
well ought to go water plants and work on my afghan visit with mom talked with my brother yesterday hopefully we will take her on a scenic float trip...I works for a dude ranch so I called to see if they do scenic float trips and they do but he suggested that she would be better in a hard sided boat instead of a inflated one and so he is going to take us on the river someday soon looking forward to it... he is so busy I hope it happens

Just got off work... Sheila, I should have read this post before the one I replied to on yesterday's morning coffee. I'll add that you could figure out what it would cost to go on your own plan... If you did and dropped the mifi it might be cheaper. It also could be more. So look at all angles. :)

I was surprised to see Sheila post before night. Had to look outside and see if it was still day light. lol

I went to Best Buy this morning to get a TV with a DVD player. The TV at the camp is having problems. There is no reception up there unless we have satellite and my View Qube isn't working. There are some old movies from the discount bin at Walmart. My sister's family does Red Box so she can pick up some movies when we go camping.

Picked up Sugar this afternoon. She was sure glad to get home. Maybe I can stay home tomorrow but have to go get my car serviced on Friday. Not sure how they are handling people waiting on vehicles. I need to remember to bring a book because waiting rooms don't have magazines.

I did not end up getting to sleep last night until 3 am. After the first storm passed, I left slides in and started reading in bed and relaxing, but then a spot on radar that had looked small started growing and heading for me, so I went through the thunder, lightning, rain, etc a second time. I cannot possibly go to sleep while worrying about strong winds and rain blowing in through slides or wherever.

Today I drove about 150 miles farther west to a new campground. Anyway, here is the campground when I arrived. Actually, it still looks this way three hours later, except for my rig:

I noticed from tags that it will be busy on the weekend, but I am only staying two nights. A couple of sites will be occupied tomorrow. Cost for electric only is $8 per night for seniors. There is a water fill and half of the sites have electric, but no dump station that I can find. Best part is that it has EXCELLENT Verizon service even if it is way out in farm country, 30 miles from the interstate!

Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am, in case I decide to make some noise.
