easy going Saturday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

easy going Saturday

Good morning gals (barely!) :D Almost noon here.

Went and got my COVID-19 test already. Says it will take 7 -10 days for results. I thought they were done faster than that now. Guess not. My eyes are still sore and itchy. Sometimes I have pain behind them so I take ibuprofen for that.

Just did an on-line pickup order with Walmart. Haven't done that before but we'll see how that works.

I have some powder I got for Lola that is to help with diarrhea so I put that on both cats' food. Well, in the middle of the night, Lola had the most nasty smelling explosive diarrhea ever! OMG! I thought I was gonna get sick! So that didn't work too well. Haven't seen any results with Maya yet...

Beautiful sunny day today but feels a little humid. So a good day to stay inside. I need to tweek my masks a bit. (spell check doesn't like the word "tweek" and wants to change it to "twerk"! Seriously??) Also have some new books to read and a gourd project to start on. Oh, and the class to do for work.

Have a good day! :D
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Hi Barbie & all!

Barbie, I hope your cats get over the runs they're having, but as much as you know about cats, I'm sure you'll have it under control soon. Any new gourd projects going on?

It was a warm sunny day in central Florida and it was a slow, lazy day for us. Steve grilled marinated shrimp with a lime mojito sauce, we also had salad and green beans for dinner. Tomorrow is church, the third service since we were shut down. Not everyone is attending but that's okay. I sit in my little corner all by myself by the organ and feel safe. We are still waiting for transfers to be made for our big day on Friday.

Oh, I remembered to put earrings on this morning.

Another sunny day on the island. Irmi glad you put on your earrings. I tried it didn’t help. I bought 3 packs of Barrett’s at the dollar store. Thought they would tame the wings. Another generation difference, they are clips that slid in your hair like a bobby pin and slid out again if you have wispy hair. I’m not stressing anymore. If I need to leave the building will wear ball cap, sun glasses and a mask. I’m watching Quigley Down Under starring Tom Selleck, be still my heart. :D Be safe

sure didn't accomplish much today actually if I am honest I hadn't even thought of what I wanted to do so guess I accomplished it right??? I did go to the grocery store.. you know one thing about filling out an order and then picking it up is that you don't buy more than intended.. I go pass the berries and two different kinds jump in my baskets... then my gd has been saying pesto chicken sounded good so thought I will look for basil no basil but there is a basil plant so into the cart it goes... then I hit the chip aisle for the tortilla chips... so go looking for Munchies as I haven't been able to find them for a bit... what else did I get that wasn't on the list... then I get home and remember something that I needed looked to see why I over looked getting it and there it wasn't... so we will make Not your Mama's banana pudding with graham crackers... going to make Navajo taco's tomorrow...
so that is or was my day... called my mom chatted with her for a few I might go over one day soon and just visit with her outside... as near as I can tell the stay out of senors houses hasn't lifted
you all have a great day
hopefully Barbie you will get Lola's potty issues taken care of...

I have to remember to put earrings in every couple days just so the holes don't close up! Also, my hair will be long enough for clips and rubber bands pretty soon!

I picked up my order at WM tonight. The only thing I didn't get was paper towels. Will try again next time. I ordered a small pouch of catnip for Maya. It was sold out so they gave me a huge container of catnip instead! I have enough catnip for about 30 cats!! I also ordered a "little" toy for her that looked on-line like it was about 4 inches long. Well, turns out it is 12 inches long! Twice the size of Maya! She took one look at it and ran away. That will be getting returned.

It sure is fun having a kitten again! She is so sweet! It is funny to see all the crazy positions she gets into when she is sleeping! She is learning to just set her teeth on me when she is playing now which is much better for me! When she bites too hard, I just say "no bite" loud at her and take my hand away and stop playing for a bit. She seems to understand now what that means. I praise her when she is gentle.

Didn't get much accomplished today other than the store visit and some reading. I did watch the graduation special on TV tonight. It was good.
