Mornin' ladies~~~

Going to be a soggy two days here in Savannah, GA, but still planning on some sightseeing. Maybe a museum of some type. Been spending the days with Peggy. We went to Tybee Island yesterday. Tomorrow I need to get an oil change and do some laundry. Fun stuff.

Hope you have a good day.

A cheery Good Morning to you all. Spring is rolling right along here in Northern Michigan with mild temps and sunshine. But it will be a roller coaster for awhile till it’s here to stay for good. The dogs and I have been enjoying long walks these days both on roads and in the woods. I know we did did in excess of 15 miles last week and so far we have 7 in the past two days. Molly is leading us in places she loves to go. I have a feeling the woods will be calling today. I’m sure the Maple Syrup folks are busy with the sap run right now as conditions have been good for that.

Meantime I’m busy running errands and trying to decide on a paint color that transitions from my kitchen to my living room. Won’t be painting for a bit yet as dentist appt., RV show with friends, great weather for bumming this weekend and possible company next week coming up, plus finishing up couple little basement projects. There will be more winter days to paint yet.

Camping season is starting to get on my mind as well as an urge to go some place. Tossing some ideas around, but also monitoring Coronavirus situation as well. How it will impact travel is yet to be determined.

Barbie, I agree with the others. Put a key rack by the door or some place and when you come in, hang up the keys. I have a command hook in my trailers wardrobe where I do that with my truck keys. Becomes a habit after awhile. This time of year, they stay in the pocket of my winter parka that I wear on my errands etc. so thry are right where I need them.

Am rambling on about nothing here, so am going to quit and get my day started. Have a nice day all.

Be careful Cheryl, there is a tornado watch South of you and warning for Savannah. It is very windy and humid here but looks like most of the storms will go North of here.

Don't know what I will do today. Guess I could work on my taxes and see if anything is missing. I finally heard from the estate lawyer and he says the hold up is the guy he hired to do the land appraisal. He fired the guy and hired someone else.

Good Morning, beautiful day here. After I began losing my keys, I put them on a lanyard. The minute I turn off the ignition the lanyard goes around my neck! That way I cannot set them down somewhere and forget them! When entering my condo, the lanyard goes on the hook in the closet! All this becomes a habit, then, no more lost keys!!!
I am following the news of the corona virus with great interest. No need for the panic exhibited in some places. However, it is going to spread around the US. One scientist whom I admire said that 80 percent of the people that contact this virus will show no symptoms! As I am one of the elderly with poor lungs, I am avoiding crowds and washing my hands frequently. However, just going to the store is getting out among small crowds!!!
Sad about the horrible tornadoes in Tennessee.

Glad spring has sprung in the northern states. Yesterday was a bad day and a good day. First, I cleaned out some papers and discovered my CoachNet renewal bill from a year ago. Tried entering my member number on the website and no record of it!! Small panic, so I called CoachNet and renewed starting immediately. I cannot believe I drove a whole year without road service! So that was good and bad.

Uncle was released from hospital and is looking and acting even worse than before hospitalization, if that is possible. He is skin and bones, literally. And his wife managed to call me on the memory care facility phone and cried the whole time. I just do not know how to handle her because everything I say makes it worse. Anyway, the good was that I was driving two hours away and made it to my campground just before dark. Had stopped for gas and to load up on groceries, but am now 3 hours from memory care, so they will have to handle things without me, which is good, I think. And I had a very good night's sleep.

I am on the east side of the state, and in a very nice county campground near Lake Okeechobee. Big sites and fairly quiet, except for some road noise. So, going to try to catch up on stuff around here--cleaning, organizing, and grading papers, of course. Next week I will be heading to Port Lucie Lock & dam for two weeks. Great site right on the river so I can watch cruisers head into and out of the locks. Also, daylight savings time means more sunlight in evening to be outside, although I still have to watch out for mosquitoes. Got one big bite hooking up last night and am hoping it does not get huge and infected as mine tend to do.

Oh, and it is going to be 91 here today and tomorrow--about 15 degrees too hot for me, so got AC running now.

Good morning gals! :D

Things are warming up here now. Had my bedroom window open all night. Nice to get some fresh air in here. I keep the windows in the house open all day now too. The wind has finally died down now and just a mild breeze this morning. I need to get back to painting the house trim again soon but am working for the next 4 days, and then rain is predicted for the weekend again.

I do have a key rack by my door and faithfully keep all my keys hung on there but for some reason I seem to forget the golf cart keys occasionally. Notice the empty hook...

I always check my Bing news feed in the morning to see what the big stories are for the day. I was surprised that the tornadoes in TN are not even mentioned! That should be a huge story. I haven't seen too much about it but heard there is a large death toll. Will have to look up more info on that. This time of year is so bad for largespring tornadoes. I don't miss that kind of weather at all! Southern MN is at the top of tornado alley so we saw our share of those as well.

Judy, it is good that you can put some space between you and your aunt & uncle to get a break from that stress. I can't believe they won't put your uncle in Hospice! How long do they think he can live in that condition?

I am also keeping an eye on the Corona virus info but not losing sleep over it. Being that I work with the public, it is something to be aware of if things get worse. I do have a decent mask that I got (at Q) to use for wood burning on my gourds so I have something if needed, since the masks are out of stock now everywhere.

Looks like the dems are down to two candidates now after yesterdays primary. Will be interesting to see how that goes.

Off to work in a bit. Had to call and reschedule my dental cleaning appointment since it fell on St Patty's day which is a busy day for me here. Got golf in the morning, golf potluck at noon, St Patty's golf cart parade and poker run, and then the St Patty's dinner and dance in the evening! Whew! These people know how to have a good time here!! March is the big last hurrah here before the snowbirds head back north in April. After that, things will be very quiet as far as activities and parties, until next October again.

Have a good day! :D
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Happy March, Ladies.

My roll call check in went poof and I was too lazy to retype it. Good see so many check in.

Lyn, glad you are doing well, and I don't blame you for not wanting to be in crowds. Sandi, a belated Happy Birthday! I am so sorry you have to deal with the parole board again. Brenda, hope you'll keep in touch about your May and June plans - we might cross paths. Sue, I've loved your snow photos. Many of you will be happy to see spring! Martha, you wore me out with vehicle washing and mowing. :D Cheryl, you are really on the go and seeing some great sights. Hope everyone can steer clear of the bad weather.

I'm still in Salome until March 27. It has been a busy time with high school friends nearby or visiting. I need to get over to visit Sheila and Kerry. I will be camping near them at Dome Rock after I leave here. My spring/summer plans had an add on. My Washington State niece is now getting married May 16; my cousin's daughter is getting married June 27 in Kansas; July 1 I fly to Ireland for a brewery and distillery tour and August 14 is my high school reunion back in Washington State.

Barbie, he can go into hospice, but not while he is getting physical therapy, so I am asking the PT people to re-evaluate him and let me know if they think it is realistic to believe he can profit from PT. If not, I will apply for hospice. As he disintegrates, I am believing more and more that PT is useless and I need to sign him up for hospice.

The memory care facility called me a couple of hours ago asking me to come see him because he was unresponsive. I told them I was 2.5 hours away and could not come, but to call his doctor. They tried but doctor was not in, so I called his doctor, and the doctor on call at the practice said to send him back to ER and the hospital, so we are waiting now for an ambulance to take him there.

Judy, sorry you and your Uncle are on this rollercoaster ride. I went through that for months. Not much you could do if you were there but wait on them to do something.

I'm glad Sugar and I did our walk early. The cold front came through and the temperature dropped 15 degrees and it started raining.

Anita, you are really going to be on the move. I'm not sure I would want to be traveling with that virus going around. When I was in Walmart yesterday they had an end cap of big bottles of hand sanitizer. People keep talking about not being able to find any so I bought a bottle. About the only time I really used hand sanitizer was when Harold was sick. I didn't want to be bringing something into the nursing home or hospital or taking something home.
