Putt Putt Tuesday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Putt Putt Tuesday

Just got back from my putters golf league. It was fun and I did really good! I got 28 strokes on a 9 hole par 27 course! Putting has always been my better part of golf. Lots of ladies there and beautiful surroundings! The course is alongside a small lake with fountains, palm trees, flowers, etc. The regular golf course is on the other side of the lake and all is surrounded by park models. Oh, and can't forget the beautiful mountains in the background! I love this place!

It is very busy around here in the mornings with lots of activities scheduled early in the mornings.

Not sure what I will do here before heading to work later. Lots of possibilities!

Enjoy your day ladies! :D
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

I'm so glad the putt putt was fun. And that you are enjoying your new home and neighbors. I think this place might be your home for a long time.

I'm about to advertise for workampers for summer 2020 in South Dakota at the store... Just in case anyone here might be interested.

So happy for you Barbie, after reading of all of your "adventures" over the past years, that you have finally found a place where you really seem to "fit in".

Good job!

I agree Barbie, I too think you have found your “happy place”. Putt putt golf sounds like fun. I’ve always enjoyed playing “mini golf” when I can find somebody to play with. There are some really challenging mini golf courses up here.

Good luck getting workampers , lined up for next summer Beth. I take it Linda will be back. Shelia, Safe trip to Q.

Has been a rather snowy day here today, especially this morning. Temp Has dropped from 33 to 29 and with the wind, feels like 21. Dogs had a grooming appt., so was out in the heavier snow bands taking them in and picking them up. County has been plowing the roads all day, but the snow is letting up as late afternoon goes on. Roads are still warm, but the wet snow is making them slushy. This is the first cold front coming through, the second one follows tomorrow and another on the weekend, each colder than the one preceding it. Snowing in forecast every day, but what has come down since Halloween has melted. to feel like January. Way below normal for this time of year. It is what it is. Every time the snow melted off this past week, I got the blower out and cleaned up leaves that came down. Just one tree still holding onto it’s leaves, but I’m beginning to wonder if they are frozen in place

Tomorrow is wellness Wednesday at the hospital. For $15 you can go in, get weighed, get BMI measurements and glucose, cholesterol checked. If weather permits, I plan on doing it. Then won’t have to have blood work done again when I get my “Wellness checkup” later this month. Did that last year and was able to compare my weight loss, BMI and vitals from month to every other while I was working on losing weight. I put weight on over the summer, so am now watching my eating.

am vegging out in Needles CA... got here about 4:30 or so before dark is all I knew was so tired pulled in rather too close to the bushes pulled ahead to be out of the bushes didn't work but they are soft so won't matter but also pulled forward enough that the dump opening is under the slide so either the slide comes in and I dump and put it back out or I wait until I am leaving and put the slides in dump and leave... looking around think that is what will happen or I can get down on my knees and reach it and dump it and think I will wait  got ice for the fridge and cooler and took a nap... I get tired but all is good.. I love the beauty of the Virgin River Gorge but hate to tow through it... wish I had a driver so I could look around or close eyes or whatever suits.. then getting into Vegas there is this ramp that takes you on to 515 or 95 S. that reminds me of a amusement park ride... hate it kept telling myself the big haulers can do it they don't fall off...  today we were going at a snails pace not sure if it was the big rig just couldn't get up speed or the on coming traffic or a combo of the two... was so glad to get off that ramp!!! finally made it through the town and as I said made it to Needles.. decided to hang out for a couple will go to Q on Thurs... gives me a chance to vacuum and of course dump the tanks... hopefully by now they are more liquid than slush ... did I tell you it was cold in Ogden and SLC record breaking low temps... and high was not much higher up in the 30's or low 40's not my kind of weather... youngest two say mom you need to leave before this son said when can you go to AZ? is say Sept 15 but the slithering things are about and it is too hot!!! well need to leave before the end of Oct. wasn't expecting the cold that we had... now it's warm in the 70's still although when I took my nap had a throw on just not plugged in...
loved that sunset that Carol posted so beautiful
Barbie you ought to bring a club with you that it's beautiful and we will go desert golfing
