Morning all. Still up here in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Trip is winding down, be heading home in a few days. Really been enjoying it. Concerts, great scenery, lighthouses, Two boat cruises, waterfalls, good company, some really nice people at the campgrounds etc. Best part has been the weather. Can’t ask for more perfect weather than it has been. Plentiful sunshine with maybe couple 2 or 3 cloudy days thrown in over the past 3 weeks. What rain has come around, has been during the night. Temps in the mid to upper 70’s, low’s in 60’s, humidity zilch. Can’t get enough of it. Sad part is, in a couple of weeks, we will be heading into Meteorological Fall as summer winds down. But if weather continues to stay nice, I will to go camping this fall.

But just want to check in and say hi. Been kind of reading off and on a bit on here, need to play catch up after ai get home. Meantime, want to wish you all a nice day out there. Peggy, nice to see you posting more too. Looks like FL may be the “in” place this winter for the east side gals and of course Q for you gals in the west. Those in the middle, well......

Wow Sue! No wonder we haven't heard from you! You have been too busy having fun! Sounds like a wonderful trip so far. Those in the middle of the country can go east or west for a GTG!

Nothing much happening here today other than heat. Have some projects inside to do.

Good morning from the Oregon Coast. Weather is still great altho got a bit windy in the later afternoon but was still nice and warm. Probably the same today and tomorrow we move inland for a couple of days then Laura and I will part directions, her north, me south.

Then next bigger trip will be the Pow Wow in California. Looking forward to that.

We have a new mantra, "It is not always who you camp with, it is who you camp next to" LOL Our neighbors went crabbing yesterday and gave us crab for dinner last night, we made yummy crab salad. Then a game of Mexican Train and a Baileys and coffe.....yup great night.

Laura is quite the "fix it lady". She actually is super smart so I am glad I choose my friends wisely LOL who knew she had so much hidden talent.

been a somewhat busy day.. took the dogs to the groomer they smell so good... and so quite with the nails being trimmed while they were being groomed I went and spent money .... more than I should but did get what I wanted and then some... have material to make ggd a quilt was going to put prairie points on it but not remembering how to do it so I decided to get some cotton lace to put around it got that thankfully there was a 60% off coupon on the app. was so glad knocked a lot off of the total... then to Walmart oops have I mentioned that one shouldn't go hungry??? take my word for it all sorts of stuff finds it's way into the cart. did get the bird seed... got word that she was through with the dogs so picked them up and a stop at my favorite type of ice cream... they say they are not ice cream but custard the fat content is higher than most ice creams
but totally enjoy it and only a couple places we can get it so when I can I do... when I got home had to run and get the parts to put the sink in and then clean up the gunk off the used sink .... dd didn't want her sink as it was yellow they were able to find one at a thrift store. now it's degunked just waiting to be put in... SIL is still healing but feeling better...
will leave tomorrow for home will be glad need to meet my dd in Idaho Falls they need to put stuff in the back of the truck
they are in the process of building a garage with a apartment on top so they needed supplies for that going to put in electricity on Saturday... my gs is going to trade tech to be a journeyman in electrical and he works for a company as well so he will do the work and I think the boss will check the work ... anyway glad to see it is going forward... it was started last fall but needed to get more funding that took a bit but is done..
getting tired will be glad for my bed

Got up late again today. Really need to get to bed earlier!

Didn't get everything done I wanted today but got a few things off my list. It was really hot again today, about 117* so didn't want to go anywhere. The new neighbors are moving in next door. Will have to go over and meet them this weekend.

I went thru the pics from my trip up to Idyllwild and there were so many that I decided to just do a blog entry for it. I posted the link in the General thread.
