Go West Saturday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Go West Saturday

Postby IrishIroamed » Sat Jul 13, 2019 11:06 am

Mornin' ladies~~~

I'm trying to go north at least but truck is now expected to be done by Wednesday. It's also Disgruntled Worker Day which is probably every day

Heat and himidity is coming back to Illinois. 90s for the entire 10 day forecast. Hopefully Martha is OK from Barry.

Not much else other than a ride to CW yesterday for a break in the boredom. I didn't spend a whole lot of money, so that's good.

Have a good day everyone!

But, I want to go east! I had an Asthmatic crisis, I guess one would call it. Was in the ER all day. Spent last night at my daughters home. With grands, greats and dogs, I want to go home to my quiet life! Will do so later today. Lyn

Do you think it was allergies, Lyn? I have really been stuffed up lately and even coughing, so I know mine are kicking up. Glad you are OK and headed back home soon.

Hot here, but I was thinking yesterday that it is mid-July and I still don't think it has been as hot as last year here in Oregon. It is only supposed to be in 80s next week and even 70s by next weekend in Eugene, which is fairly cool for them. Hope it stays that way as this RV does not stay cool enough even with AC going.

Not much going on today, other than I made some crepes from scratch. I just ate three and will make the rest and freeze them for a quick breakfast some later day. My freezer is now very full of precooked things, which I really like. I bought some langostinos from Trader Joe's yesterday. They are precooked so I just thaw them and squeeze out the extra liquid. Then I cook up some linguini, drain it, and dump the langostinos on it. Add garlic powder and lemon juice, and a bit of salt, and Voila!! I ate one-third of it with some Parmesan cheese on it, and put the rest in the refrigerator for a couple more meals. Yum!

Now, all I will need to do for the next few days is microwave stuff.

Lyn, so sorry you are having asthma issues. I know around here weed pollen is high and aggravates my asthma some. Hope you are soon home and feel better.

Between my asthma issues, sinus problems and the residue (for the rest of my life, I guess) of my heat stroke a couple winters ago, this has been a tough summer. So I feel your pain, Lyn. I'm glad you're improving and hope you get home today.

I just brought Ty to Pet Smart for a bath... Walked out when told it would be 3 or 4 hours. Questioning them the same person has 4 dogs scheduled for the same time. Really? I wouldn't accept that at my doctor's or dentist's ... Definitely won't here. I already wrote corporate as they say it's corporate policy and corporate is coming down on salons not following it. Maybe those salons are trying to keep happy customers.

oh my the knees don't want to do anything!!! but we did my son's house has stairs and even more in his new house but I informed him when he reminded me of it that at least there is a restroom on the bottom floor  then we had to meet my dd's who were letter boxing and since we were early decided to stop at an open house darling home but I think since she is hoping to add another child that this one wouldn't be big enough but for me if I had the funds would in a heartbeat... till I thought about it more it is a really cute home and has lots of creature appeal.
then where they were letter boxing was at a cemetery not the park as we thought hopefully the ones with the little ones found one and appeased the chilians but more up hill and down hill and STAIRS!!! so don't plan on doing a heck of a lot tonight... back in Ogden with plans of heading North on either Monday or Tuesday... dd has a conference to attend till Thurs and I gave thought of staying until this project is done but I have plants that need to be taken care of the tank pumper is coming on Friday and blood drive on Friday plus Irmi is in the area and I want to be able to see them... and to see my mom will see when that happens... my dd that stays with her often thinks she needs to go to the dr but I am the last person that will be able to do so....her comment will be you don't go so you haven't a thing to say... she doesn't seem to be eating again and that makes her blood level bottom out. not sure if she just doesn't think of it or forgets but she doesn't seem to have dementia or anything of that nature...or if she is just too tired to do so which if her blood is low enough that would explain the too tired reason.... anyway not sure what I can do to help the situation
we ate at Culver's got super full but that was at almost 5 will want something sometime before bed..
take care Martha
