Beautiful Sunday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Beautiful Sunday

Good morning all. Celebrating the second day of sunny warm weather! Rain again tomorrow is in the forecast so must take advantage of the sunshine while I can! I should go over to son’s today and probably start mowing their yard. My dil is home recovering from surgery so it’ll be awhile before she’s able to do it. I was there on Friday and when I got their their little dog jumped into my car and first thing looked in the backseat for Rascal. She looked at me as if to ask where is he, I want to play with him. It was so cute. Guess she enjoyed her time with us last week. Rascal was on the other hand was happy to have his house and person back to himself, I think. He definitely slept good the other night after we took her home! And just lazed around the next day too.
Judi, sure hope your trip to FL is successful and you’re able to get things settled for your aunt and uncle. Beth, exciting that you were able to get a larger casita and with a view! Barbie, sounds like you are making your new place yours. Bet you’re happy to have air conditioning in this home! I’m hoping to be able to get away after the 4th and head up NY way for a few days. So far I’ve managed not to have any appointments scheduled until the end of the month so depending on the weather it may just happen! Lots to do before I can feel comfortable to take off. So that’s all happening in my world right now. Glad this week is over with all that was happening and hopefully this week will be quieter. Hope you all have a good week and enjoy wherever and whatever you’re doing.

Good morning gals!

Yesterday afternoon I went to the clubhouse for the ice cream social and meeting for emergency preparedness. Ice cream was awesome, 8 different flavors offered plus lots of toppings and whipped cream. Then the meeting started. Was very informative. They are just in the planning stages but it sounds good so far. There were over 60 people there so most of the ones who live here full-time showed up for it. I sat with a gal about my age (Cindy) and she is super nice! We had a lot to talk about and we are planning to do some fun activities together. She said the casino next to us has an outdoor stage and I guess they have a tribute band play every Saturday night at an outdoor stage, so some of the gals take their golf carts over and watch that each weekend. It is free, which is even better! I told her I really want to do that! How fun! The casino also puts on a fireworks display for the 4th of July so that will be fun to watch too.

I have an interview on Wednesday with Great Clips. It is mostly a formality since I already have the job. Hoping to start the first week of July. I need to get some money rolling in! :o

Have been checking on campground prices back in MN near where I lived before, in case I decide to go there next summer for a month or two. The monthly prices are crazy!! $1000 plus electricity! If I decide to go back there for a couple months, I would be better off renting a room for half that. We'll see...

Have a good day!

After several days with serve thunderstorms, we have a beautiful Sunday forecast
Not much new going on in my world. Still dealing with issues around the sudden unexpected death of niece. One of those issues deserves a reminder for all of us. Locked electronics (computers, phones, tablets, etc) and various types of accounts can be very difficult or impossible to access. Be sure someone knows your passwords or at least write them down and store where a loved one or caregiver might find when necessary.
I did get a fun break yesterday - lunch with a friend.
Think todays main chore will be paying bills

Good Morning, Sarah, todays paper had a big article on that subject!!! Very, very important!

Night and morning low clouds with little afternoon sun!!! sam ole same ole!

My grandsons wife had a surprise birthday party for him yesterday. When he was told to put blindfold on prior to arrive at the garage, his first thought was "my wife has bought a new car"...he prepared to be MAD!!! When we all stood up and yelled surprise, his smile was small, until he realized the truth! No Car! Party was great fun!

GGD soloed in a ballet recital yesterday...er grandmother said she did very well...I didn't go as I can't stand the Mother. The ex-wife of grandson.

My next trip will be to OR/WA for the wedding of new wife for grandson. This one we all Love!!! She is beautiful, very nice and smart!!!
