Let's start our day with a good morning here.

My only comment, Judy, is that your situation with your sons is completely different from what exists between my daughter and me. I wish that were not the case, but it is.

Hi travel pals! Not much to report here; mountains are beginning to open up so hoping for a chance of overnight camps. The central coast sounds fabulous Sandi! Did I tell y’all I got a new air mattress (thicker) for my van? Lol probably.
Also considering a sit on top kayak as I can easily load on my minivan. Happy May Day!

Just checking in. Have been working 9 hours day at the seasonal contract and slowly refilling the checking account in time to pay off the credit card for the vehicle repairs, routine work and new tires. Josef is scheduled for another weekend of dog shows and spring has made its way to Ohio finally or.... at least for now. I will be working through until about the middle to June. Cha Ching!

Ok, so it'll be after 7 pm... But I'm checking in. Snow yesterday and today... Gorgeous... But working and boot even time to get some pics. I did run outside at the store and take a couple this afternoon when the flakes coming down were gigantic.

We got so many groceries in today that with 5 employees and me while all got checked in, we still have maybe a dozen totes worth to get on shelves. And I still have about 8 or so pages of products to check/enter in the computer. But we are looking like a store. And even with today's bad weather we had ok sales. That surprised me.

I'd like to respond to several of your posts this morning but limited tinge right now. Know that I'm thinking of you all .

I forgot Rabbits again. I went to Walmart and got most of the food I need for this weekend. They have decided to have Tacos for Cinco de Mayo and Mint Juleps for the Kentucky Derby. I didn't turn on my refrigerator until this morning so I couldn't load the food yet. Hope I don't forget anything. Someone wants us to bring hats to wear but hats are not my thing. I think there might be an old hat in the old house. If I think of it tomorrow I will see.

I would like to go to the Crystal Bridges Museum sometime. Alice Walton had cutting horses back when we were showing. Her horses were a lot more expensive than ours.

I went to happy hour at Betty's to meet the lady that is staying there. We have a lot of friends in common but had never met.

It was very windy again and my hair is a fright. It doesn't do much good to fix it and go out. It needs to stop raining up North. The Mississippi River is already flooding in places and we don't need more water coming down.

My expectations with my son are pretty low too. I told him he has to come feed the inside cats on Friday and Saturday or they won't eat. I decided to leave Stinky at home and board Sweetie Pie. The vet wants me to keep Sweetie Pie shut up so she won't be jumping up and down. I just don't have room for a cage in the motorhome and she would try to jump up on the dash.

spend some time together will go back up to Ogden tomorrow. Friday is going to be a busy day... need to get the truck's oil changed and the RV mechanic is coming to see why one of the slides didn't go out all the way.. hope it's just an adjustment of something or maintenance wise...
then the plan is to leave on Saturday for my summer home. will be good to get up there and be with other members of my family. have a high school graduation in late May and then a new great granddaughter due early in May and all the family times coming up...
Saw the model of the house my son is having built really pretty they staged it well... but over all it is a nice looking home

Went to Discount Tires today and they confirmed the dry rot. I told him I was planning to pull a U-Haul trailer soon. He said if I keep the tires I have, I would need to put more air in them for pulling the additional weight of the trailer. Somehow that didn't sound like a good idea to me. If the tires are already compromised (dry rot and 8 years old), adding more air pressure seems like it would make it more likely to have a blowout. So I opted to just get new tires. Will go back tomorrow and have those put on. One less thing to worry about.

I also have an appointment for Lola in the morning to get a check-up.

Wasn't too busy at work today but tips were great! I made about $80!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
