What a day! After 5-7 days of searching, Sean the handyman located the part for my washer. I went after it. It's a plastic part smaller than palm of your hand with a little circuit board inside . Took Sean under 5 min to get top off washer and less than a min to remove old part and put new one in. Its the pressure switch, which we kept finding under different names and pictures looked nothing like this! I'm on my third load! It works! Part cost $190.00!!! But new comparable washer $1000. Clean clothes, priceless! Of course I still owe Sean for labor. I practically have him on retainer these days!
Went to Curves. To pet store for Mandy's favorites. Ended day taking son out for supper at a place called Islands restaurant. Great food. Home to meet Sean for above repair.
Over 8000 steps on fitbit. I'm tired but satisfied to sit here and listen to washer humming in background. Now I can get towels, blankets and sheets from van done and choose what to put back in there. And wash the baskets and bags of accumulated dirty clothes.
