Saturday in San Carlos

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Saturday in San Carlos

Postby asirimarco » Sat Mar 16, 2019 9:24 am

Good morning to all. Well we made it another 240 bone rattling miles yesterday Going to stay here until Monday. Either this RV isn't made as well as the Alfa or the roads have gotten worse. Our side passenger mirror came loose and now tilts but hasn't fallen off. Thank goodness. And something came loose in our fresh water tank, it is now leaking. Someone coming to look at it today.bone
Yes Bill does all the driving. Thank God. Yesterday at one section of NEW road he was holding the steering wheel for dear life. Not even 1 inch shoulders. Going to post video later of going through one little town.
I don't want to take too much time getting home as Bill's UTI has come back - he isn't concerned but it won't get better on its own. All our new medical cards at in the mail box in Vegas. So want to get there, pick them up and get him into doc.
This has been a winter to forget.
We do have good Mexican coffee on and pastries if interested. I'll be working on blog in a bit. Just didn't feel like it yesterday.

For sure the Alfa was made better than most any new RV! Glad you are progressing home. Can you get Bill some cranberry juice to drink. Get more water in by diluting cranberry 1:1with water. Won't cure the UTI but will help reduce symptoms.

Sounds like a bumpy ride, Carol. I concur re cranberry juice.

I'm staying at a real rv park! I can't remember doing so since leaving SD... I planned to do laundry today and it just seemed more convenient. So here I sit. Plan to move back to a state park tomorrow.

Since I was troubled with urinary tract infections I started taking Cranberry pills and so far so good. My doc recommended them. I dont take them every day because I forget LOL
