Good Morning All, I have been dealing with life. Went to Dept of Motor Vehicles to change my address. It was like getting a root canal. Waited in line 45 min. and was told I needed my birth certificate or passport, my social security card and two proof of address. I had my drivers license which has my picture, did they really I was impersonating me. It’s a fifty mile round trip so I came home, went to the bank safety deposit box for documents and back to DMV. Back in line to get a ticket, 20 min. Take a seat and wait 2.5 hours for my number to be called. Irmi at least it was a seat with a back instead of the old bench. I understand identity fraud but geeezzz. Other than that bump life is good. Safe travels.

Good morning
Been quite a while since I checked in but have not forgotten all of you.
I'm happy to report I actually made it to FL again. Left home end of Jan and have been at Hardee Lakes gtg since Feb 1. Nice turnout for the event. I'll be here for 5 more nights. Will have to wait until better Internet to post a few photos assuming I can remember how to do that here. First few days on the road were very cold but it is much nicer now.
This is my first outing since parking Magic last April when I returned from FL. Good to be out again.

Good morning Shirl, Sarah and all!

Shirl, sorry about the problems at the DMV. I've heard about the new changes and hope I remember them when I go to have my license renewed. Glad for you it's over with!

Sarah, enjoy the last week at Hardee Lake with the others.

The weather has warmed up here since Sarah left although today is a bit on the cool side, with temps only in the low 70's with a stiff breeze but it will warm up again this coming week. Friends from MD will be pulling into the park Monday for a month and I promised them dinner when they got here. We just got back from the grocery store to get the ingredients for that meal. Tomorrow is church so I'll get another practice in for that before we leave in the morning.

I know lots of you are experiencing snow and ice, so please be careful when you go out.

It's afternoon here in Arizona. My friend Ginger drove over to Organ Pipe to join me yesterday and we had a great time. Ty was thrilled to see her and she let him ride in her car with us. The bum went to bed with her on the sofa last night! But after she turned her light out he must of thought she'd be safe and came up to bed and under the covers with me. So cute.

Sarah, I'll be looking forward to your pictures here. I've seen some on FB. But I know I miss lots there.

I'm back on BLM land for tonight before heading to Tucson again tomorrow. Ginger headed back today.

Shirl, I thought you only need all that once. Maybe you haven't had to renew since those became necessary. I'll be renewing this year so I'll definitely be checking carefully after your tale. But generally it's quick and easy with almost no wait in SD.

Irmi, I'm so glad that your shoulder problems never have caused the need for you to quit your organ playing. I'll never forget when you played on the Lake in Wood organ.

Shirl, I agree about the root canal! When I "moved" from Michigan to Ohio just before i left on my travels, i had to get a new drivers license. First, they sent to another office to take a paper and pencil test, and it turned out to be closed. And since that was my birthday and my Michigan license was now expired. The next day, they would not give me a license without my not only taking the paper test but also a road test, since I now had an expired license!! Scheduling a road test takes several days and weeks! They also wanted my divorce papers to show that I had a different name so they could do a records test. All of my stuff was buried in a huge storage building, so I lied and told them I had kept my maiden name through my marriage!! But still no license, so I drove back to Michigan and renewed the Michigan license, drove back to Ohio (350 miles round trip) and got my new Ohio license without the road test!!! Whew!! I think they make up these ridiculous rules just for job security.

Snowed last night, but wet snow that melted quickly. This winter is getting boring, but at least I am doing good medically.

Good afternoon to all those enjoying nice weather. Our weather people are going crazy predicting snow. We didnt get any. AND no low temps into the teens it was 38° when I left my house this morning.

Doing my good deeds today. Picked up some prescriptions for my friend Malia. Then went and visited with her while her daughter ran some errands. I am glad her daughter is here from Texas as Malia gets kind of confused especially with her meds. She didnt want to leave her alone so I was happy to go over so she could get out. Caregiving is a very hard job and even tho she has only been here since Wednesday she was ready for a break. Second good deed was to take my neighbor Marjorie to get some lab work drawn for surgery next week. She was going to call the Care Car for transport but I wasnt busy so I offered as I didnt mind.

It is too early for me to make any reservations to go anywhere yet but I really did enjoy Eagle Lake, it wasnt really too hot, but I was in the shade so that helped. No satellite but I lived. Internet was spotty, but again I lived LOL

Home now and ready to relax for the rest of the day. Oh yes and it is now 44° and the sun is peeking out LOL I dont even think I will watch the news tonite.

Karen, I thought I was going to be at Eagle Lake this summer but I'll be at Eagle Tree in Seattle. I'll have to give you my schedule to see if we might be able to meet up.

I wish that I could say that it has warmed up but not that I can tell. looked at the thermometer and indoor temp is 62 think I will go turn on the heater. just too cold...
today I accomplished about what I set out to do. lol DD called I was still in bed because it was warmer there than getting up. She isn't one who likes to talk on phone more likes to text but she called an hour+ we said our good bye's so made bed all that stuff let Shadow be out while I filled the feeders then I took Alice to dump her porta potty then to town needed a planter on of mine kept getting blowen over in the winds and think it really cracked the planter as the water just flowed through it so Monday will repot the plants and hopefully they will be forgiving. it's a bigger planter not what I really wanted but it will hopefully work out ok then fixed supper and did dishes oh also while in town got my shower.. always feels good
that was my day it's been a chilly cloudy day hopefully one day down the road I will complain that it's hot!!!

Rained a lot this morning til about 1pm. Then sunny and nice. A little cool but no complaints. :D

My creek looks awful. :o So much trash scattered along the banks from the previous heavy rains. Also really tore up the bushes and small trees along there that are bent over and damaged.

I have Monday and Tuesday off so am going to take a quick trip to Palm Springs. That is always a fun get-away.

Have a good night!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
