First Saturday of January

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

First Saturday of January

Good morning! Well, it’s another gloomy start to my day. It rained most of the night but at least it wasn’t snow! Temps are already in the 40’s and it’s supposed to be sunny this afternoon. Something to look forward to! Been enjoying reading about everyone’s travel out west. Sounding like a fun GTG at Q this year! Even if you might be dealing with cooler temps!
Not much exciting going on here. But then I suppose that’s a good thing! Trying to keep up with “stuff” around here. Still trying to downsize. Slow but sure! I’m trying to decide on a new paint color for my upstairs bathroom and when I nail that down that’ll be my next big project. Will probably carry the color into the hallway too. So a big project!
So with that, I should get moving here and get my day started! Just looked out the window and I actually see some blue sky! Yippee, maybe it will be a nice afternoon. Windy but sunny! Gotta love it! Have a wonderful day wherever you are and whatever you do.

After a couple of almost dry days. we are back to rainy, cold, and cloudy days for the next week, so I am mostly not going anywhere. Got lots of food and just have to go out to take out trash and dump tanks every couple of days. I have blood tests on Wednesday, so will use that day to go out and restock my groceries.

And considering that I am stuck here for another two to three weeks after my original Jan 30 date to head to California and see my kids, how far away is spring?????

I might head to the beach for a few days in February, just for something different. Also, this town has a lot of nice bike trails, but it is way too cold to ride on them, plus I cannot take any chances of falling because of my platelet problem. Later in the spring when i come back here, I will try some of their trails, assuming that by April it will be warm and dry.

Cold, windy and cloudy today. The kind of weather that sucks the energy out of me.

My bike should be put together and ready for pickup sometime next week. Yay! I need to get the bike rack on the back of my jeep. Shouldn't take too long to do that. It goes into my hitch.

I now have a sinus infection. Will let it run it's course. I don't do well with antibiotics and only take them if I absolutely have to. This one isn't too bad so will skip the meds.

Need to eat lunch and start on something around here.

Have a good day and stay warm and dry!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

on the first Sat of the month there is a craft fair at QIA except if the Pow Wow is on the first sat of the month. so went to it saw some stuff would love to get some for the kids some for me but couldn't convince myself at this time to spend the extra money then where to put it when traveling? got to consider that... one of my dd's likes owl's found some that I thought she would enjoy so going to get one next month oh and Papa Murphy's was there again another time no oven to bake it in will talk it over with my friend and see what would be a good pizza to get. The pizza place here in town is suppose to be great and based on the amount of cars would believe I've never been partially because Larry didn't like pizza and partially because of the crowds..so this sounded good. came home thought a nap sounds good laid down on the couch woke up hours later thinking I'd slept the night away took looking at phone telling me the day is still Saturday.
been raining a bit.. which is ok until I go to take Shadow out then we will hope for no rain
