Medicare pays part of my eye exam because I have a spot on my retina that they want to take pictures of. I guess it's how they bill medicare. We had a discount optical shop in town that was always so much cheaper than any where else but the guy retired. I went to Walmart once and they wanted over $300 because I have tri-focals and the lens that gets darker. The discount place was about $180. I was sad to hear he retired.
